Brie Larson’s face is red by the end of the video, and it’s easy to understand why. The actress has been open about how hard she works at the gym. In a previous post, she wrapped chains around her bare midriff while she did pushups. It looks like she doesn’t get much of a break.
Some of the fans in her comments asked if she was training for The Marvels, the sequel to Captain Marvel. That seems unlikely since production wrapped on the film at the end of November. It’s easy to see why fans are asking, though. Brie Larson has just started giving a glimpse behind the curtain on that film, recently posting a photo that hints at villains in The Marvels shortly after showing off a necklace that revealed the logo for the superhero team-up in the movie. While these teases are starting to come out on her Instagram, it will likely be a while before much more news comes out about The Marvels. The film isn’t set to release until February 17, 2023, putting it more than a year away from its theatrical release.
That doesn’t mean Brie Larson won’t be spotted in other Marvel movies in the meantime. The actress was just seen in the post-credits scene for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, proving that she may unexpectedly appear in any Marvel film at any time. Despite her frequent updates for her nearly seven million Instagram followers, she’s been good at keeping secrets for the franchise.
Her role as Captain Marvel has greatly intensified her fame, but Brie Larson has been acting for a long time. Before Captain Marvel debuted in 2019, Larson had already won an Academy Award for Best Actress. Her directorial debut hit Netflix in 2017 with Unicorn Store. She was a regular on television series, like United States of Tara and before that, Raising Dad. She had her big blockbuster debut in 2017 with Kong: Skull Island.
During 2020, fans got to know Brie Larson better when she became a regular YouTuber. She doesn’t update the channel as frequently anymore, but it was a platform for her to share her morning routine, musical interests, and other insights into her daily life. Today, she is mostly sticking to her Instagram and her podcast, Learning Lots with Brie Larson & Jessie Ennis. Episodes come out every few weeks and tend to give more insight on the actress’s life as she discusses her experiences with anxiety, workflow, finding purpose, and regrets. The series has her interviewing stars like Melissa McCarthy, Chelsea Handler, and Bill Hader, who she worked with on the comedy Trainwreck. Perhaps soon she’ll do an episode where she interviews her trainer and provides more insight to her workout routine.
