Off-screen, Kate Micucci is one-half of the musical comedy duo known as Garfunkel and Oates. Along with her collaborator, Riki Lindhome, Micucci performs as Oates with Lindhome as Garfunkel in a bit that sees them playing relaxing folk music with crass observational comedy as the lyrics. The pair rose to popularity around 2012 when their second album, “Slippery When Moist” landed a spot on Billboard’s Comedy Albums chart. From that, they would land a series on IFC that ran for one season along with their first of many tours.
We’re happy to hear that Kat Micucci is already making a full recovery and we’re sending her all the positive vibes on her way back to the stage.
