Anne Hathaway is one of the most acclaimed actresses in the world, with more acting awards and nominations than many of her peers could ever hope for. She also is one of the most beautiful women in the world and has the kind of social media following to match. An Anne Hathaway Instagram fan account recently posted a picture of the Princess Diaries star in a striped corset covered in illustrations of flowers and it is very, in a word, impressive.
The Instagram image of Anne Hathway sees the star staring straight back at the camera with a small smile on her face. She is standing against a soft white backdrop, making the picture seem to have the feel of boudoir photography. Anne Hathaway’s eyes are smoky with eyeliner, and her loose, dark-blonde hair is cut to her shoulders. The corset itself is low-cut and cinched at the waist, with straps made to look like leaves around her upper arms.
Anne Hathaway most recently starred in Armageddon Time, a semi-autobiographical film from James Gray about a young Jewish-American boy and his friendship with a young Black boy in New York City in 1980. In addition to Hathaway, the movie starred Succession’s Jeremy Strong, Shakespearian actor Anthony Hopkins, and Broadway legend Tovah Feldshuh. Of course, because Anne Hathway is a famously hard-working entertainer, Armageddon Time is only one of a huge number of her upcoming projects.
Anne Hathway is currently in production on the Michael Showalter film The Idea of You, in which she plays a 40-year-old divorcee who makes a trip to the Coachella Music Festival with her young daughter. It is based on a novel of the same name by Robinne Lee and will co-star Reid Scott, Perry Mattfeld, and Nicholas Galitzine.
Anne Hathaway will also star in She Came to Me, a film by Rebecca Miller, along with Spider-Man’s Marisa Tomei and Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage. Continuing on with the star’s long list of projects, she will star in The Lifeboat as a woman on trial for murder who must explain how a desperate trip on the titular vessel has brought her to this place.
Hathaway is listed as starring in a thriller titled Eileen with Last Night in Soho’s Thomasin McKenzie, a drama about sisters titled Mothers’ Instinct with Jessica Chastain (who also had a role in Armageddon Time), and Bum’s Rush, which will involve Bill Murray as the voice of a talking dog.
Anne Hathaway is part of the human cast of the feature film adaptation of the long-running educational children’s program Sesame Street, as a New York City lawyer working with Big Bird and his cadre of Muppets to discover what has happened to their missing street. Hathaway might have an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, and a Primetime Emmy, but don’t think that makes her reluctant to do a kid’s movie.
However, there is no confirmation yet whether Anne Hathaway will return to the Princess Diaries franchise for the announced third movie, so maybe she finally did get just too busy.
