Ana de Armas has quickly risen to the global A-list level in the last several years, but starring roles in movies like No Time to Die and The Gray Man are undoubtedly not nearly as thrilling as getting paid to not have pants on. In a recent Instagram post, Ana de Armas is wearing an oversized white button-up shirt and nothing else, which seems to be a behind-the-scenes shot from a new Estee Lauder shoot. It is not clear whether Ana de Armas is shooting a new commercial for the cosmetics company or styling a new line of products, but it is clear she looks amazing.

Ana de Armas has been an Estee Lauder Global Brand Ambassador for some time, which is a pretty big get for even for one of the largest cosmetics companies in the world. Since breaking out in the 2019 Rian Johnson murder mystery film Knives Out, Ana de Armas has been in pretty high demand for some of the biggest film productions ever. However, she does look pretty chill hanging out on a white bed with a bouquet of pale pink roses in one hand, so that is nice too.

It also is likely a bit more chill of an experience than the production of her most recent film Blonde, in which she portrayed American film icon Marilyn Monroe for director Andrew Dominik, Netflix, and any viewers who have a deep fascination with troubled, highly fictionalized lives. While Blonde courted controversy more than most films (and was criticized widely for its perceived exploitation of female pain), Ana de Armas’ performance was generally well-received, even if she herself did not like the Internet’s fixation on the amount of nudity in the film.

Ana de Armas as Marilyn Monroe

Still, despite all the controversy around Blonde (which included some interesting statements that Monroe’s ghost had been consulted), Ana de Armas seems in no danger of being anything other than a beloved and gorgeous film star with a bright future. She also recently starred in The Gray Man, another major Netflix production, directed by the Russo Brothers in one of their first major non-Marvel Cinematic Universe films. The spy thriller also starred Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling; while heavily touted as a potential new action franchise, it is currently unclear whether there will be any sequels to the film.

Ana de Armas also recently starred in the erotic thriller Deep Water with Ben Affleck, which was released via Hulu and received mostly middling receives (currently holding 36% on Rotten Tomatoes). Her next film is the upcoming Ghosted, directed by Dexter Fletcher (best known for the music biopics Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocketman). Ghosted is being described as an action-adventure romance, and will reunite her with Chris Evans in what is rapidly becoming one of the more frequent film duos in modern Hollywood. The film will also star Tim Blake Nelson, Adrien Brody, and Mike Moh.

But at least for now, we will leave Ana de Armas to her Estee Lauder and pantslessness, because the world is better that way, isn’t it?
