See Alexandra Daddario Posing In An Unbuttoned Crop Top
An old photo of Baywatch star Alexandra Daddario is making the rounds, and it serves to remind us of why she was chosen for the 2017 role. Daddario, who we last saw covered in blood to promote her upcoming AMC show Mayfair Witches, is seen in this newly-resurfaced photo showing her wearing an open denim vest with only a black bra and panties underneath.
The photo had almost disappeared from the internet since its original appearance. Before it was posted by an Alexandra Daddario fan account, the full photo only could be found on a store webpage. It served as a photo design to be printed on a women’s dress, of all things.
The actual source of the image remains unclear. Its oldest reference appears to be a 2017 Maxim article, but that article contains multiple embedded Instagram photos of Alexandra Daddario that have since been deleted. The most likely candidate is 2017 from a deactivated fan account.
This fan account, frustratingly, references an unofficial Alexandra Daddario page on the Russian social media site VK as its source.
As for the actress herself, Alexandra Daddario does have an official Instagram account that she posts to regularly. Most of her posts these days are snippets from her daily life, with occasional photoshoots and promotions for her work spattered in the mix of it. Scrolling through her Instagram to its very first post in August 2012 gives no sign of the photo, leaving its origins a mystery.
However, there are a lot of photos of her dog Levon, and a 2013 post showing her bear to the world.
Alexandra Daddario is best known for her role as Annabeth Chase in the shortlived Percy Jackson film franchise. While the performance of all actors involved was praised, the series ultimately disappointed fans because of how poorly the scripts adapted the books on which they were based. The disappointment led to disappointing ticket sales for the second film, and the series was canceled.
Alexandra Daddario’s first role, however, was as the troubled teen Laurie Lewis in the ABC soap opera All My Children. She left the show in 2003 after 43 episodes and went on to appear in The Sopranos, Law & Order, and Life on Mars before landing her Percy Jackson role.
Since then, Daddario has appeared in dozens of tv shows and movies, including It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Texas Chainsaw, True Detective, American Horror Story, Why Women Kill, and, of course, Baywatch.
Alexandra Daddario’s upcoming supernatural horror series Mayfair Witches series is based on the Anne Rice trilogy Lives of the Mayfair Witches. Like the original novels, the series follows Neurosurgeon Dr. Rowan Fielding, who inherits the Mayfair family fortune after the death of her estranged mother. She soon discovers that she belongs to a long line of powerful, wealthy witches who are haunted by a mysterious spirit.
Mayfair Witches is set to premiere on AMC+ on January 8, 2023. It remains to be seen whether this series will fare better than Alexandra Daddario’s previous involvement in book adaptations.
