Alexandra Daddario

Alexandra Daddario is often seen sharing stunning snaps on her Instagram page. The Hollywood actress is famed for her stunning fashion sense, which is often on display for her social media followers to enjoy. Her latest post on social media is something a little bit different, allowing fans to see her transform whilst on a daily commute.

The image (which you can see below) shows Alexandra Daddario posing in the passenger seat of her car, tossing a New York Yankees cap aside, whilst wearing a Los Angeles Angels baseball cap instead. The candid image is captioned; ‘my transformation is complete.’ Born in New York City, could this harmless post be a sign that Daddario has fully embraced her Hollywood life and left her New York roots behind?

In a sporting sense, Alexandra Daddario’s Instagram post could signal a transformation of sorts. It is not a stretch to imagine that the New York native held an affinity toward the Yankees growing up, but after cultivating a successful Hollywood career, has finally transformed into a fully-fledged LA native, hence the apparent new allegiance to the Angels. The post has certainly gained some traction, with over 300,000 likes and approximately 1200 comments, with one user stating that Daddario should: “throw that Yankee hat right out the window.”

If Alexandra Daddario is indeed hinting that her transformation from New York to Hollywood native is finally complete, it has certainly been long overdue. Over the last decade, Daddario has made a household name of herself via several high-profile roles on both television and film. Fans will likely first recall seeing Alexandra Daddario on the big screen in 2010’s Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief and its 2013 sequel as Annabeth, the two films marking the Hollywood star’s big break into the world of cinema. Since then, Daddario has gone on to guest star in several different television series, such as It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and New Girl. Daddario has also made a name for herself in recurring television roles, starring alongside Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey in the first season of True Detective, putting in a brilliantly crazed performance in the first season of Why Women Kill and more recently starring in The White Lotus.

Alexandra Daddario’s film career didn’t stop with the Percy Jackson franchise. As well as cultivating a successful television career, Daddario continued to appear in feature films, such as disaster epic San Andreas (which grossed over $400 million at the global box office) alongside Dwayne Johnson, a casting reunion with Johnson in Baywatch, and mystery/thriller We Have Always Lived in the Castle, which boasts an impressive 87% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Daddario’s next major role, however, will come in the world of television, as the actress has snatched up the lead in AMC’s Mayfair Witches, a series based on The Lives of The Mayfair Witches trilogy of novels by author Anne Rice. Given the long and varied Hollywood career that Alexandra Daddario has had so far, it would be fair to say that the actress has more than earned the right to say her transformation from New York to LA is well and truly complete.
