See Alexandra Daddario In A Shimmering, Skin-Tight Dress
Alexandra Daddario shows off a tight metallic dress.
Alexandra Daddario is about to level up as a Hollywood starlet. After beginning as a child star in the Percy Jackson series, showing herself as a mature, U.S. President-viewed actress in HBO’s True Detective, she has just been nominated for her first Primetime Emmy and is about the be the lead of her own AMC gothic horror show. All that, and Alexandra Daddario still has time to look pretty fantastic in a shimmering designer gown on a red carpet.
As with most Hollywood stars these days, Alexandra Daddario has a pretty solid social media presence, with her Instagram account currently holding at an impressive 22.7 million followers. Fortunately for anyone in the world with Internet access, she frequently posts pictures of herself doing everything from lounging by the pool, rebelling against restrictive ice cream laws, and perhaps most importantly, showing off some pretty amazing, absolutely sexy looks.
In this particular post, Alexandra Daddario is posing in a form-fitting metallic silver dress (considerately tagged as being from designer Monique Lhuillier) that has the look of soft, sleek chainmail. According to the caption of the post, Alexandra Daddario was attending the Baby2Baby Gala, thrown by the non-profit organization of the same name, dedicated to providing unprivileged children with essentials.
In the first picture of the post, Alexandra Daddario shows us a full look at the tight, shimmering dress, her hipped cocked coquettishly to one side. The second image is a close-up of the star’s face, showing off the bright red lipstick she favors (and which contrasts amazingly with her famously blue eyes) and a pair of diamond earrings from Tiffany & Co., who she has been repping hard these days. It also notes that her hair was styled by Bobby Eliot and her makeup by Lotstar, both of whom frequently work with her.
The third and regrettably final photo in the set has Alexandra Daddario standing next to her husband, producer Andrew Form. The two married earlier this year in New Orleans, and memorably documented their tropical honeymoon for Instagram followers.
There is a little bit of irony in Alexandra Daddario appearing to have a delightful tropical honeymoon in real life, as she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie in the first season of HBO’s The White Lotus for playing a young woman on a Hawaiin honeymoon that ends up going very poorly. While she ultimately lost the award to her co-star Jennifer Coolidge (who also certainly deserved it), Alexandra Daddario was rightfully acclaimed for her nuanced, alternately sympathetic and callous performance.
And while Alexandra Daddario is not appearing in the second season of The White Lotus, she will soon be starring as the lead of AMC’s Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches, an adaptation of one of the late gothic fantasy writer’s series. She will star as a brilliant neurosurgeon who discovers her connection to a vastly wealthy, spooky family in New Orleans, because it is an Anne Rice story, after all.
