Alexandra Daddario is getting sporty and showing off her modelesque body in a new ensemble to promote a women’s active lifestyle clothing brand. The Percy Jackson and Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D actress took to Instagram over the weekend to show off her fit body in a tennis outfit that’s got both form and function. In the pair of photos that make up her latest Instagram post, Alexandra Daddario stands outside on a furnished white stone patio with the sun shining behind her. Each photo sees her posing in a navy blue skirt and tank top look that seems like it’s perfect for hitting the clay and playing some tennis.
Unfortunately, there’s just one problem. In the caption of the image, Alexandra Daddario notes that she needs to “learn to play tennis” now. Of course, the outfit is not the precursor to her first tennis lesson — or at least that’s not really the point of the post. Instead, it seems to be an ad for the clothing brand also.
The actress is modeling clothes for the brand that, according to its website, seeks to inspire and empower women through an active lifestyle. After being founded in Los Angeles in 2007, the company mostly focuses on yoga attire. In addition to Alexandra Daddario, also has been sported by many celebrities in the past. However, it notes that, although its roots are in the world of yoga, it simply wants all women everywhere to feel empowered to chase wellness and fitness in the most stylish and comfortable way possible.
Alexandra Daddario is likely an in-demand spokesperson right now given how high her profile has become thanks to her very key role in HBO Max’s breakout hit The White Lotus. The series follows a group of well-off people on vacation at a Hawaiian resort as they navigate their interpersonal demons and do their best to check their privilege among the workers at the resort. She starred in the ensemble cast as Rachel Patton, a newlywed who uses The White Lotus as her honeymoon destination only to realize every step of the way that perhaps her new husband is not the right man for her after all.
Speaking to Time, Alexandra Daddario noted what a challenge and thrilling adventure it was to act alongside top-tier talents like Connie Britton, Sydney Sweeney, and Jennifer Coolidge. Because the show was a breakout hit, HBO greenlit it for a second season. However, the idea is for it to introduce a new cast of characters and make the connective tissue be that it takes place at another White Lotus resort location.
As a result, that means it’s unlikely that Alexandra Daddario will reprise her role. However, never say never. Creator Mike White told TVLine that he’s not opposed to having cast members from season 1 of The White Lotus return. However, he insists that it would have to be believable for any of them to cross paths again. While difficult, that does indeed leave the door open for Alexandra Daddario to return to the franchise. However, so far Deadline reports that Jennifer Coolidge beat her to the punch when it comes to season 2.
