Alexandra Daddario is poolside in a tiny bathing suit.
It looks like Alexandra Daddario is having some fun in the sun with her trusty Australian cattle dog by her side. And you can tell that the Wildflower star is working on her tan because she’s rocking the resort with a fashionable blue and green bikini and a stylish pair of shades in her most recent Instagram post. Her dog, Levon, also seems to be enjoying some quality rest and relaxation and can be seen sporting a big dopey smile with his ears cocked to the side.
And it’s only fitting that Alexandra Daddario is enjoying some time off at a beach resort, considering the time she spent on the set of 2017’s Baywatch (co-starring Dwayne Johnson). It looks like she’s not only relaxing poolside but having a great time catching the sights on a rocky beach.
Alexandria Daddario has been hard at work starring in AMC’s Mayfair Witches, a supernatural thriller drama that takes place in Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe. The series centers around Rowan Fielding, a neurosurgeon who finds out she’s the heiress to the Mayfair dynasty. The series was successful enough to get picked up for a second season and is slated for a 2024 release.
But it’s not just a bunch of hocus-pocus happening in the world of Alexandria Daddario. In fact, one of her early recurring adult roles in her meteoric rise to stardom was as Lisa Tragnetti in the first season of True Detective alongside Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. Though her four-episode run was a minor role in many ways, the first season of True Detective is considered by many to be the most iconic season of the series so far, and it’s safe to say that Daddario’s contribution was instrumental to its success.
Shortly after True Detective, Alexandra Daddario played a minor role in American Horror Story: Hotel, and her three-episode run was one of heightened drama involving a polyamorous relationship with Rudolph Valentino and the Countess before she was killed off the series.
However, it wasn’t until 2016 when Alexandria Daddario’s career truly took off with her supporting role in Nicolas Spark’s romantic drama, The Choice, alongside Travis Shaw and Teresa Palmer. The success of this film landed her one of the lead roles in the 2017 Baywatch movie as Summer Quinn. That same year, she portrayed Kate Jeffries in the road trip comedy, The Layover (co-starring Kate Upton and Matt Barr).
If you thought that Alexandra Daddario was just in film and TV, she has also starred in several music videos. You can see her portray a drifter in Imagine Dragon’s “Radioactive” and the ex-girlfriend in Maroon 5’s “Wait,” in which Adam Levine tries to resurrect her from death with a scorpion. The latter received nominations for the MTV Video Music Awards for Best Visual Effects and the Teen Choice Awards for the Choice Song: Group award.
When you work hard, you get to play hard. And in the case of Alexandra Daddario, she seemingly likes to keep it low-key with her dog by her side. Though we’re sure she’s not resting on her laurels, but rather taking a well-deserved break before her next production run of Mayfair Witches.
