Wow, just give her all the trophies.

Alexandra Daddario wasn’t nominated for any Oscars this year, which makes sense since probably her most memorable role wasn’t in a film but in the acclaimed HBO dramedy series The White Lotus. But nomination or not, it’s tough to imagine people wouldn’t have been offering her trophies after seeing her in the outfit she wore for the Oscars After-Party. With the help of Caroline Herrera, Daddario looked about as stunning as you could imagine.
The Baywatch star wore a black gown with sequins, see-through mesh and a plunging neckline. Alexandra Daddario posted the pictures of her After-Party ensemble on her official Instagram account. You can see those images below.
Alexandra Daddario’s next big screen appearance is scheduled for some time this year in the dark comedy Wildflower. The film is co-written and directed by Matt Smukler, based on his real-life family according to Deadline. The film will focus on the life of the young Bea, who is fighting her way through young adulthood while trying to care for a parent with a learning disability. Along with Dadarrio, the film stars Kiernan Shipka (Mad Men), Jean Smart (Hacks), Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook), Brad Garrett (Everybody Loves Raymond), and Charlie Plummer (Lean on Pete). Along with Smukler, Wildflowers is co-written by Jana Savage.
Afterward, she’ll be starring in the AMC series Mayfair Witches, based on the Lives of the Mayfair Witches book trilogy by Anne Rice of Vampire Chronicles fame. The books follow an entire family of witches whose spiritual guide, Lasher, has helped decide its fate for generations. There aren’t a lot of specific details released yet about the series, though according to Variety, Alexandra Daddario will reportedly play the lead role of Rowan Mayfair — a neurosurgeon who finds herself thrust into a new, supernatural world. Deadline reports Harry Hamlin (Clash of the Titans) will play Cortland Mayfair.
Unfortunately, Alexandra Daddario didn’t need witches, vampires, or any other supernatural disturbances to make things way too interesting for her recently. The actress picked up and moved, presumably after answering her door to find an alleged stalker waiting for her. When Daddario called the police, the man — who claimed the actress was stalking him — was arrested and a firearm was found in his car.
While there’s no word of her being involved in either, a number of projects that helped build Dadarrio’s career are apparently getting revivals. Alexandra Daddario played AnnaBeth Chase, the romantic lead of the Percy Jackson films opposite Logan Lerman as the eponymous hero. In January, Rick Riordan — author of the Percy Jackson book series who was never happy with the film adaptations — announced that a Percy Jackson and the Olympians TV series had been greenlit at Disney+.
Meanwhile, a much different kind of series is on its way back. Last week news emerged that after a long wait, the fourth season of HBO’s anthology crime series True Detective was on the way. Alexandra Daddario had a recurring role in the first season as Lisa Tragnetti, mistress to Detective Marty Hart (Woody Harrelson).
