Alexandra Daddario is busy proving her mettle as an actor and winning the challenge with shows like The White Lotus. She is also effortlessly topping the list of Hollywood’s hottest celebrities. Currently, the actress is enjoying L.A.’s “winter weather” and given her usual impressive style statement, she is obviously pulling off the seemingly simple feat by raising the temperatures dressed up in a stunning activewear look.
Alexandra Daddario recently took to Instagram to flaunt her toned abs, while dressed in a stylish outfit from Alo Yoga, the famous yoga wear brand. In her pictures, she is seen in what appears to be her backyard and is decked in a black corset-style sports bra containing a sheer under panel, loose black pants, and a cream-colored teddy coat, which she left open. As stated above, when the actress is not engrossed in setting her social media handles on fire with her stunning photos, she is focused on climbing the stairs of success as an actor. On the work front, Alexandra Daddario had an eventful 2021 where she starred in a recurring role in Starz network’s anthology drama series The Girlfriend Experience. Her biggest project last year was HBO’s satirical comedy-drama series The White Lotus, directed by Mike White. The series featured an ensemble cast including Alexandra Daddario, Jake Lacy, Murray Bartlett, Connie Britton, Jennifer Coolidge, Natasha Rothwell, and Steve Zahn. For her role as the journalist Rachel, Daddario received critical acclaim.
Alexandra Daddario also headlined the Collin Schiffli-directed romantic crime thriller, Die in a Gunfight, and starred alongside Diego Boneta. The actress is currently filming Wildflower, a coming-of-age dark comedy, whose cast also includes Charlie Plummer, Jean Smart, Kiernan Shipka, Dash Mihok, and Samantha Hyde. Currently, Alexandra Daddario is one of the leading choices of DCEU fans for the starring role of Zatanna Zatara in the upcoming live-action film adapting the comic book character for the first time. Till now, the only person secured for the project is Promising Young Woman director Emerald Fennell, who has been tapped to pen the script of the film.
Though no cast for the project has been announced, many DC fans have already fan-casted Alexandra Daddario as Zatanna. While the actress hasn’t particularly listed Zatanna as a role she would like to play, she has admitted that she “would love to be part of any of those films” bringing comic book characters to life. This won’t be the first time when the New Girl star has been associated with a comic book character adaptation. Back when Marvel was looking to bring Jessica Jones to life, reports had emerged that Daddario was one of the top contenders for the role. But as fate would have it, Krysten Ritter bagged the role instead and played the superhero in the titular Netflix series.
While Alexandra Daddario is yet to get a call from Warner Bros. to play Zatana or any of the countless superheroines of the DC universe, anyone who has seen the actress play the badass demigod Annabeth Chase in the Percy Jackson films already knows that she would be a perfect choice!
