How To Watch Star Wars: The Clone Wars In Chronological Order

After 133 episodes, a revival years later, and a theatrical movie, Star Wars: The Clone Wars has come to a close. The animated series provided fans with a closer look at the Jedi Knights and Jedi Council during the war between the Galactic Republic and the Separatist Movement.

Of course, The Clone Wars leads into the events of Revenge of the Sith, but the animated series found an audience that didn’t necessarily grow up with the original trilogy or the prequel trilogy. Believe it or not, The Clone Wars is the pinnacle of the Star Wars universe for many younger fans.

Heck, it even spawned into a live-action series with Rosario Dawson taking on the Ahsoka Tano character and joining her similarly live-action friends in Disney+’s Ahsoka.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars is available on Disney+ to view but it’s worth noting that watching the show chronologically is different than just pressing play and letting the streaming service do the work.

Because the story skips around some over the years, you’ll want to see how things line up “correctly” in terms of timing. And if you were really ambitious, you could try watch Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith along with The Clone Wars.

With the Star Wars universe spreading its stories further and further, it’s tough to know how to keep up to make sure you’re watching everything correctly. Don’t want to miss anything along the way.
