Diddy Last Words Take On New Meaning In Disturbing Resurfaced Video
As you likely already know, rapper and music industry mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is currently in a New York jail awaiting trial on federal charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. Since Diddy’s arrest, numerous video footage, interview clips, and other media have been brought to light that take on a whole new meaning now that the public is aware of his alleged criminal conspiracy. One particularly damning video showcases Diddy pre-planning his last words that he’ll utter on his death bed, the words being “I did it.”
Obviously, when Diddy originally conjured the idea for these last words, he intended for them to be interpreted in a positive way, like he was congratulating himself for a life well lived, and for achieving his dreams. In hindsight, the phrase seems like a deathbed admission of guilt, as though he’s confirming his involvement in the hundreds of sexual assault cases that have recently been mounted against him.
This dark double entendre has caused the resurfaced video to be shared around the web like wildfire, with some hip-hop heads insisting that Diddy intended the phrase to be an under-the-radar brag about his ongoing life of crime.
Hanging With Martha Stewart And Snoop Dogg
The video itself was shot during a November 2017 appearance on VH1, when Diddy showed up to be a guest on Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party. The series, which was hosted by unlikely friends Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg, saw the hosts playing a wide assortment of ice-breaker games with their guests. During the segment with Diddy, the Bad Boy Records founder pulled a card from a stack of prompts asking what his last words would be, before enthusiastically sharing his cryptic answer.
More Incriminating Evidence
The Diddy last words video is far from the only piece of media showcasing a sinister undertone in the artist’s behavior, as the alleged assaults Diddy has been accused of date back as far as the early 1990s. Other clips have seen Diddy nervously discussing a rumor that he planned to beat up Will Smith during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, as well as a wide array of videos showcasing his relationship with a young Justin Bieber.
Diddy’s comments describing his famous “freak off” parties have also found their way back into the zeitgeist lately, including an instance on a 2002 episode of Late Night with Conan O’Brien, wherein the rapper describes locking the doors and turning up the heat in his house parties, in order to force his guests to remove their clothes.
It Will Never Be The Same For Diddy
There are many things that could damage Diddy’s case right now, the least of which is his choice of “I did it” as his hypothetical last words. For starters, his reputation in the court of public opinion seems to be permanently tarnished, as fans from around the world have already become unequivocally convinced that he is guilty. Furthermore, Diddy has been denied bail on multiple occasions, even when his team of lawyers has offered up a laundry list of special considerations to the judge.
For now, it looks like Diddy is in serious trouble no matter what comes of his upcoming criminal trial. With over 120 sexual assault allegations pouring in from alleged victims of all ages, however, it seems like Diddy would be wise to amend his last words, and perhaps trade the phrase “I did it” for literally anything else.
