Lily Allen Feet Pics Get Her More Money Than Spotify
Lily Allen is one of the most popular singers in the entire world, and most fans assumed that she was being handsomely rewarded thanks to audiences streaming her music. However, she recently dropped a truth bomb on the world even bigger and burlier than her husband, David Harbour. According to Lily Allen, she makes more money by selling pictures of her feet on OnlyFans than she makes from her Spotify streams.
Lily Allen Fires Back
The only reason we know about this is that a hater took to X (formerly Twitter) to criticize Lily Allen for selling pictures of her feet, writing “Imagine being one of the biggest pop stars/musicians in Europe and then being reduced to this.” The singer fired back, “Imagine being an artist and having nearly 8 million monthly listeners on Spotify but earning more money from having 1,000 people subscribe to pictures of your feet.” She ended her rejoinder with a very jaunty message: “Don’t hate the player, hate the game.”
Now, we know what you’re thinking: how the heck did a rock star like Lily Allen get started selling feet pics in the first place? Via her podcast Miss Me, she revealed that her pedicurist complimented her feet and told her that she could make some money by selling pictures of them online. Quicker than you can say these little piggies went to the bank, the musician began peddling her podiatrist-praised paws online.
Via her podcast, Lily Allen also casually mentioned how in-demand her feet pics really are. As evidence of this, she mentioned WikiFeet, which serves as a repository of celebrity feet pics for the discerning fetishist. Users are able to rate pics of the celebs in question, and Allen casually bragged that her feet pics have a perfect 5-star rating.
How Much Does She Make Selling Feet Pics?
How much does Lily Allen actually make from selling those feet pics, though? She currently charges $10 per month for subscribers to her OnlyFans account. Based on her previous mention of having one thousand subscribers, that means these pics are bringing in at least $10,000 each month.
Obviously, Lily Allen makes a nice chunk of change (over six figures a year!) selling these feet pics, but how does that stack up with her Spotify income? That figure is harder to calculate with precision, but the singer currently has 7.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify, a platform that pays between $.003 and $.005 per individual song streamed. While we don’t know exactly how much monthly income that adds up to, one thing’s for sure: it’s less (perhaps far less) than $10,000.
Famous Hubby
Lily Allen’s comments sparked controversy among even her faithful fans, with many of them wondering why she would be so open about the practice of selling feet pics. After all, she is a pop icon who also happens to be married to Stranger Things star David Harbour, so it’s hard for many to imagine she is hurting for money. Others think that she is making a point, basically using her foot fetish side hustle to point out how little Spotify pays even the most popular musicians.
We don’t doubt that Lily Allen is just as committed to improving how artists get paid as she is to selling immaculate pictures of her feet. Whether that amounts to some much-needed changes at Spotify, however, remains to be seen. In the meantime, we can’t help but wonder if other famous figures will follow suit and realize that the key to more digits in their bank account is to sell pictures of their own digits online.
