In just a matter of months, Sean “Diddy” Combs has seemingly gone from one of the most untouchable and powerful figures in the music industry to one of the most sued people in recent memory. On October 20, a man only known by the alias John Doe joined the dozens of people who have already filed a lawsuit against the disgraced music mogul, alleging that Diddy sexually assaulted him at a 2022 party in Los Angeles. According to the documents obtained by People, John Doe, he had been invited to a promotional party for Diddy’s Ciroc vodka line when the Bad Boy Records founder began to assault him, only to be stopped by an unidentified professional athlete.

Another Incident From A Diddy Party

In the civil complaint filed against Diddy, the plaintiff says that he attended a star-studded party that he described as being packed with “high-profile guests” similar to many other parties that the music producer had been known to throw over the last few decades. Without revealing any further personal information, John Doe described himself as the owner of a “family business specializing in renting luxury cars and jewelry.” As stated in the complaint, the plaintiff says that he was invited to the event by Combs, who had been a longtime client of his company.

The Grim Details Of The Allegation

Despite the large crowd filled with celebrities and various powerful people, John Doe claims that he was “instructed” by Diddy to meet him in a private office away from the party for what he describes as a “private conversation.” In the lawsuit, John Doe says that he assumed that Diddy wanted to “have a discussion about business,” but it quickly became obvious that the music mogul, who was visibly “intoxicated and acting strangely” at the time, had different plans in mind. After an undetermined amount of time had passed, John Doe claims that Diddy began his assault by exposing his own genitals to the plaintiff.

Stopped By An Unnamed Athlete

According to the complaint, John Doe alleges that Diddy then escalated the attack by approaching him before grabbing the plaintiff’s genitals and “squeezing them in a rough and sexual manner.” After being “shocked and disoriented,” John Doe stated that he “did not know how to respond to the weirdly inappropriate sexual advance made by Combs,” the complaint reads. After Diddy’s alleged assault “escalated,” a professional athlete then stepped inside the office and put an end to the attack.

All Names Could Be Revealed At Diddy’s Trial

As part of the lawsuit, John Doe is seeking compensatory and punitive damages against Diddy, alleging that he had suffered “significant emotional distress and trauma” from the attack, the complaint reads. While the professional athlete who stopped the alleged Diddy assault remains unnamed, it is currently unclear if the athlete would be called upon if the case results in a civil trial. According to a statement made in the new lawsuit, “Combs is a menace to society, women and children,” referring to Diddy’s upcoming trial in May 2025 for his alleged role in for alleged role sex trafficking, racketeering, and using transportation to engage in prostitution.

Just One Of The Hundreds Of Lawsuits Filed Against Diddy

The complaint by John Doe was just one of five new lawsuits against Diddy in the Southern District of New York on October 20. Similar to the alleged 2022 assault that was stopped by the professional athlete, Diddy has faced numerous lawsuits accusing him of rape, sexual assault, and sexual abuse. According to many of the complaints, Diddy allegedly employed the use of his own security team to assist him during many of his attacks.
