Francesca Eastwood, the 31-year-old daughter of legendary actor and director Clint Eastwood, was arrested last Saturday on charges of felony domestic violence against her boyfriend. The unnamed victim was riding in a vehicle with the accused when she allegedly became physically violent toward him. This led to the man phoning the police, who instructed him to drive toward a safety zone where officers could intervene and investigate.

A Domestic Altercation

Clint Eastwood’s daughter was questioned by police, who determined that a verbal altercation between her and her boyfriend escalated to physical contact. Police observed the victim, noting that he had “visible injuries.” This prompted the police to place Francesca under arrest for the aforementioned charges.

Multiple sources have revealed that Clint Eastwood’s daughter was booked into custody by the Beverly Hills, CA, Police Department. Her bail was set at $50,000, which was quickly paid. Francesa is now free on bond until her upcoming court proceedings.

Potential Jail Time

The arrest of Clint Eastwood’s daughter was confirmed by Lieutenant Andrew Myers of the Beverly Hills Police Department. The felony arrest led to her being taken to the Beverly Hills Police Department jailhouse, the official charge being “assault-domestic violence/inflicting corporal injury (spouse or cohabitant abuse).”

Standard police procedure in many jurisdictions is for officials to not release the names of domestic violence or assault victims. If she is convicted of the felony charge, Francesca faces up to four years in state prison and a fine of up to $6,000. Should the charges be pled down to a misdemeanor conviction, the maximum penalty is up to one year in the county jail and a fine not exceeding $6,000.

Started Out In Her Father’s Movies

Francesa is the daughter of Clint Eastwood and Frances Fisher. The actress and Beverly Hills socialite made her first film appearance in the 1995 movie The Stars Fell on Henrietta, directed by James Keach and produced by her father. Her next appearance was four years later when she co-starred in the 1999 film True Crime, which her father directed.

Forged Her Own Quirky Career Path

After more than a decade away from the big and small screen, Francesa made her way back into television in 2012, appearing in seven episodes of the reality series Mrs. Eastwood and Company. Since then, she has appeared in television shows and films that include Jersey Boys (2014), Wuthering High School (2015), Outlaws and Angels (2016), Twin Peaks: The Return (2017), and Running on Empty (2024). She is set to co-star in the upcoming film Queen of the Ring, tentatively scheduled to be released in 2025.

Working With Her Dad For His Final Film

Among her accolades, Francesca was named Miss Golden Globe in 2013. While it’s clear that Clint Eastwood has certainly helped to get his daughter a start in the industry, not every vehicle she’s been associated with bears her father’s name. But the two still work together on occasion, including her co-starring in his latest film Juror No. 2 which will be released to theaters on November 1.

Clint Eastwood’s daughter was briefly married to the late Jordan Feldstein but filed for an annulment only days after their 2013 ceremony. In 2018, Francesca had a child with actor Alexander Wraith.
