Diddy Responsible For Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez Divorce?
As the Sean “Diddy” Combs legal battles continue to escalate in both civil and criminal courtrooms, the disgraced hip-hop mogul’s bizarre interactions and connections to other celebrities are beginning to come to light. The most recent revelation is the possibility that, due to what the FBI might have seized from Diddy’s home earlier this year, he might be inadvertently responsible for the recent breakup of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez.
In his weekly podcast, music producer Suge Knight maintained that material found in decades-old tapes taken by the federal agency was the catalyst in the aforementioned actors’ divorce.
Evidence Against Jennifer Lopez?
The dirt between Diddy, Ben Affleck, and Jennifer Lopez was revealed during the latest episode of Collect Calls with Suge Knight, in which the imprisoned hip-hop icon records from prison.
According to Knight, the information seized by the FBI contained information that would have been pretty damning evidence against Lopez, following a 1999 shooting at a New York City nightclub.
That year, a rising star named Shyne Barrow was arrested for the incident that resulted in three people being injured by gunfire.
JLo And Diddy Were Dating
Shyne Barrow maintained his innocence and claimed he was only trying to defend Diddy, his companion.
It’s believed by some that Barrow took the blame for the shooting. In her statement to police, Jennifer Lopez stated that the gun involved in the shooting was Barrow’s and not Diddy’s.
At the time of the shooting, Jennifer Lopez and Diddy were dating each other. Knight purports that the FBI knows that Lopez lied to police and that this evidence is contained on the tapes seized from Diddy’s home back in March. Knight further states that the FBI gave the evidence to Ben Affleck, causing the couple to file for divorce.
Protecting Diddy?
Barrow says that he was only trying to protect Diddy and that, in the end, he was betrayed by both his music mentor and Jennifer Lopez. Barrow has stated that Combs ruined his life and that he is the one responsible for his ten year stint in prison.
Prior to Diddy’s arrest, Jennifer Lopez filed for a divorce from Ben Affleck. The on-again-off-again couple had only enjoyed two years of wedded bliss before the couple separated in April of this year.
Whether or not Knight’s perspective is correct, the timing of the divorce is certainly raising eyebrows as the separation came less than a month after the FBI raid on Diddy’s home.
Diddy Facing Life In Prison
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s divorce is likely the furthest thing from Diddy’s mind, however, as he faces three federal charges that include racketeering and forced prostitution.
The musician/producer is facing life in prison with a minimum of 15 years if convicted, and is currently being held without bail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

Additionally, there are more than 100 new litigants in a wave of new civil lawsuits against the imprisoned star, alleging multiple cases of sexual misconduct and sexual assault.
One lawyer who represents several of the plaintiffs in these cases has stated that the court proceedings will include “many powerful people” and “many dirty secrets.”
