Michael B. Jordan Made A Twin Brother Horror Movie And It Looks Doubly Terrifying

What’s better than one Michael B. Jordan in a movie? Two Michael B. Jordans in a movie. That’s the case with his upcoming flick Sinners, which might be the scariest movie the talented actor has made yet. The tone is dark and terrifying, and the trailer brings a slow build toward something that, well, we aren’t quite sure what.

Check out the trailer for Michael B. Jordan’s Sinners and walk away with an intense feeling of dread.

In Sinners, Michael B. Jordan plays a set of twin brothers who come back to their Southern hometown in an effort to escape something from their past. What troubles him/ them, we aren’t totally sure, but none of it seems good at all. It might just be vampiric in nature.

If he thought that coming home was going to help solve any of his problems, he was completely wrong. It turns out that this place has some major problems of its own. Namely, it sure looks like there is some sort of evil undead, maybe vampire threat plaguing the town and the residents are at the center of it.

The movie takes place in the 1930s, in the Jim Crow South, an element of the plot that is sure to be instructive throughout the story.

Michael B. Jordan’s Sinners definitely looks like a slow-burn horror, ramping up the scares as things progress. While there appears to be some sort of greater threat to the town, as much of the horror might come through the psychological issues Michael B. Jordan’s twin characters are facing.

Essentially, are the scarier things coming from inside the house or outside? From the trailer, things do seem spooky all around.

Was the evil sitting there waiting for Michael B. Jordan and Michael B. Jordan to return home, or did they bring something back with them?

Was the evil sitting there waiting for Michael B. Jordan and Michael B. Jordan to return home, or did they bring something back with them? It’s not totally clear, but the results are what appears to be a terrifying glimpse into fear.

In addition to Michael B. Jordan, the Sinners cast includes Hailee Steinfeld, Delory Lindo, Wunmi Mosaku, and Jack O’Connell.

Sinners is yet another team up from Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler, who have formed one of the best actor and director pairings we’ve seen in the industry. They started with Fruitvale Station which landed with massive critical acclaim. The movies got bigger after that with Creed, Black Panther, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (Michael B. Jordan in just a small role), and now Sinners.

For Michael B. Jordan, this appears his first real foray into the horror genre, and that’s the same for Ryan Coogler as well. The two have been thoughtful with their projects up until this point and there’s reason to think this choice was purposeful, possibly even a commentary on larger societal issues.

The tagline for Michael B. Jordan’s Sinners is “Dance with the devil…and he’ll follow you home.” It’s ominous, but hits all the right beats. We might have a terrifying winner on our hands with this flick. Sinners is set to release on March 7, 2025.
