Star Trek Lead Actor Zachary Quinto Accused Of Awful Treatment Towards Restaurant Staff
Star Trek actor Zachary Quinto has been called out for alleged poor behavior at a Toronto restaurant on June 2. The eatery addressed the incident in a post on Instagram. “An amazing Spock, but a terrible customer,” Manita on Ossington Ave wrote. “Yelled at staff like an entitled child after he didn’t reply to two texts to inform him his table was ready.”

“Refused to believe the empty tables in the dining room weren’t available for him despite being politely informed they were spoken for. Made our host cry and the rest of our brunch diners uncomfortable,” the post continued. “Mr. Quinto, take your bad vibes somewhere else. We have many lovely celebrities join us at Manita, but you are not one of them.
The restaurant released a follow-up statement on June 3 to expand on the incident involving Zachary Quinto. “This isn’t the first time, nor will it be the last time, an irate guest has taken their frustrations out on our staff,” the eatery explained. “Manita is deeply grateful for our mostly incredible, friendly, gracious guests who may give us constructive feedback from time to time.”
“To all the other Zachary Quintos out there, on behalf of restaurant workers everywhere: We aren’t above criticism, but we are above being demeaned,” the message added. The actor was at Manita to celebrate his 47th birthday. He shared photos and videos of the occasion via Instagram Stories to mark the occasion.

Zachary Quinto also visited Canada’s Wonderland theme park and posted a picture of the entrance, expressing gratitude for the “incredible birthday adventure” with a mind-blown emoji and tagging the park. He also shared a video from the Drop Tower ride and a photo of himself with a birthday cake at a restaurant.
