It’s Jeff Goldblum, and it’s as if you have never seen him before. The actor takes on the role of Zeus, the king of all the gods on Mount Olympus, in a contemporary take on Greek myth. KAOS has already debuted in the UK, but Netflix isn’t giving us a date for the show to drop in the US, so we’ll just have to watch the First Look over and over until that day arrives. It won’t be long since it’s expected later this year.
In the brief First Look for KAOS, Jeff Goldblum is a tracksuit-wearing Zeus, although there is a massive, golden statue of him where he is wearing the more traditional toga and holding a lightning bolt. One day, Zeus wakes up to find a wrinkle on his forehead, which he thinks is the harbinger of an ancient prophecy foretelling his destruction. As he becomes more and more paranoid, his fellow gods grow more careless and kind of just don’t care.
