The Epic Sci-Fi Fantasy Series Warner Bros. Wants You To Forget
Warner Brothers Discovery executives have made a number of questionable decisions in recent years, including shelving fully completed films as tax write-offs instead of offering them to the awaiting masses. As the film studio were in the process of transitioning from the now-defunct HBO Max streaming service to the newly minted Max in August of 2022 one hit animated series received a similar treatment to that of Batgirl and Coyote Vs. Acme. Infinity Train was scrubbed from the platform entirely, leaving fans with no legal way to consume the incredible sci-fi adventure.
Infinity Train On Cartoon Network
Infinity Train was created for television by Regular Show writer Owen Dennis, and originally ran its first of four seasons on Cartoon Network before transitioning into an HBO Max original program.
All four seasons of the beloved anthology show have received major critical acclaim, resulting in an unheard-of 100 percent certified fresh critic score on the review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes.
Preventing It From Streaming?
Despite achieving these incredible accolades, Warner Brothers Discovery decision-makers seem to want nothing to do with the series and have prevented it from streaming on any service.
Fans and critics alike have considered the decision to pull the show extremely baffling. They would surely fork over premium prices to view the series on any platform that would host it.
Expressing Dissatisfaction
Infinity Train creator Owen Dennis has even personally taken to X (formerly Twitter) to express dissatisfaction at the fact that the only way to view his show is to illegally download it through online piracy.
Dennis also lends his voice to the series, alongside a talented voice cast consisting of Jeremy Crutchley, Ernie Hudson, Ben Mendelsohn, Johnny Young, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and The Last Of Us‘ Ashley Johnson.
New And Exciting Challenges
Infinity Train centers around a train with an infinite number of cars traveling on tracks stretching across an endless barren wasteland. Each car offers a new and exciting challenge, puzzle, or activity, which allows the inhabitants to learn about themselves and better their lives.
Intriguing Mysteries
The series’ first season centers on Tulip Olsen, who mistakenly enters the train during a period of chaos and disarray, leaving her to solve a number of mysteries surrounding the Infinity Train herself.
The show’s first several episodes set up tons of intriguing mysteries, each of which pay off with an incredibly satisfying conclusion, offering a binge-worthy experience that many fans are dying to relive.
Why No Streaming For Infinity Train?
Subsequent seasons of the show shift focus to new inhabitants of the train as they forge personal relationships with the talking dogs, emotional robots, and giant monstrous creatures created by the train to help them grow.
It is genuinely unfathomable how corporate executives could have the opportunity to let this series thrive within their streaming library and simply choose not to do so. Infinity Train is still currently unavailable to stream or purchase in full on any platform, though some crafty internet archivists have taken to backing the series up via alternative measures.
While it is never advisable to pirate content, Warner Brothers decision-makers don’t seem to have any interest in sharing the critically-acclaimed series through traditional means.
