Liam Neeson Is The King Of Netflix

Liam Neeson’s Seraphim Falls landed in the top five of the Netflix Top 10 Movies list, which makes sense, considering it’s a Western film about a man seeking vengeance. This is more in the vein of Neeson’s most popular films, like Taken. Seraphim Falls follows a former Civil War Union officer named Gideon (Pierce Brosnan), who is on the run from the vengeful Gideon (Neeson), who blames Gideon for a horrible war crime.

Near the bottom of Netflix’s Top 10 Movies list is Liam Neeson’s Made in Italy, which is a more dramatic affair. The film follows a widowed artist and his estranged son who try to fix their relationship by restoring a house in Italy. Micheal Richardson co-stars as the son alongside Neeson, who plays the widower artist.

If these two Liam Neeson movies don’t sound like your cup of tea, there are plenty of other interesting titles in the Netflix Top 10 Movies list this week. Other titles include the documentary Lover, Stalker, Killer, the action film American Assassin, the comedy sequel Horrible Bosses 2, the massive animated hit The Super Mario Bros. Movie, the new animated Netflix original Orion and the Dark, the Tom & Jerry movie adaptation, the underrated 90s Nicolas Cage romcom It Could Happen to You, and the Steven Spielberg blockbuster Ready Player One. It’s a testament to Neeson’s popularity that two of his lesser-known films are amongst huge blockbusters like The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Ready Player One.

It’s not too surprising that Liam Neeson’s films are getting some love on Netflix because it’s probably hard for fans to keep up with all the movies he releases in theaters. Just last year, Neeson starred in the films Retribution, Wildcat, and In the Land of Saints and Sinners. Neeson is definitely a man who stays busy.

Liam Neeson doesn’t seem keen on slowing down anytime soon either, as he already has two films scheduled to release in 2024. One of those films will be Cold Storage, which tells the story of a deadly fungus stored in a government facility that gets out and ravages the world. That film is set for a September release and also stars Joe Keery, Georgina Campbell, Vanessa Redgrave, Lesley Manville, and Sosie Bacon.

Liam Neeson’s other film scheduled for a 2024 release is Thug, which follows an aging gangster who is revisited by his past while trying to reconnect with his children and make up for his past mistakes. Thug also stars Ron Perlman, Yolanda Ross, Daniel Diemer, Matthew Delameter, and Tom Kemp. While Thug doesn’t have an official release date announced yet, you can always revisit Seraphim Falls and Made in Italy over on Netflix.
