In her social media post, Susan Lavelle expressed profound sadness over the death of her ex-husband, actor Gary Graham. The actor was survived by his daughter Haylee and his wife Becky, who was at his side at the time of his passing. Lavelle also explained how she met Gary Graham while he was starring in Alien Nation. She shed light on some of his other credits, such as All the Right Moves, with Tom Cruise.

Gary Graham starred as Detective Matthew Sikes in the Alien Nation television show, which had a rather short run from 1989 to 1990. It was the extension of the same-name movie from 1988. The movie received mixed reviews from the critics, but it was successful enough to warrant the making of the TV show. Interestingly, the show fared much better with the critics and the audiences, but Fox Network had issues of their own at the time, and the financial shortage pushed the network to cancel all of their dramatic series for the subsequent season.

The Alien Nation franchise endured and Gary Graham reprised his role as Matthew Sikes in made-for-TV movies: Alien Nation: Dark Horizon, Alien Nation: Body and Soul, Alien Nation: Millenium, Alien Nation: The Enemy Within, and Alien Nation: The Udara Legacy. All of these were released between 1994 and 1997, but still remain beloved by the fans of the franchise in which aliens get intoxicated by drinking expired milk.

Gary Graham’s roles in the Star Trek universe are also some of his most notable performances. He first appeared as the Ocampan leader, Tanis, in Star Trek: Voyager. Years later, he portrayed the role of Vulcan Ambassador Soval in Star Trek: Enterprise for 11 episodes. He also appeared as a shapeshifter alien in the fan-made Star Trek: Of Gods and Men and Star Trek: Renegades. The list didn’t end there: Graham reprised his Star Trek roles in numerous other fan-made releases.

Gary Graham’s guest appearances include roles in Eight Is Enough, Starsky & Hutch, The Incredible Hulk, CHiPs, The Dukes of Hazzard, T.J. Hooker, Remington Steele, Moonlighting, Diagnosis Murder, Ally McBeal, Walker, Texas Ranger, Nash Bridges, JAG, and Nip/Tuck. His film credits include roles in the aforementioned All the Right Moves, Necronomicon: Book of the Dead, The Last Warrior, Star Trek parody Unbelievable!!!, and Jeepers Creepers: Reborn.

In addition to a rather fruitful acting career, Gar Graham was also a musician, and he often performed in The Gary Graham Garage Band and The Sons of Kirk.
