The Batman Part 2 Villain Revealed And It’s Perfect?
There have been significant hints and rumors rolling around that The Batman Part 2 may feature Hush as a main villain in the movie. Though the rumor has not yet been confirmed as truth, a notable “scooper”, Jeff Sneider told The Hot Mic that he definitely has “heard whispers of a Hush”.
Hush In The Batman Part II?
Hush making an appearance in The Batman Part 2 could easily be explained, given the Riddler’s appearance in the first movie. If you know anything about Hush, you know he got his evil start working alongside the Riddler.
With Riddler’s hate for Batman and Hush’s distaste for Bruce Wayne, the two are a perfect pair for pervasion.
Fans are also left to question if Hush would be the only villain in the new film, given that The Batman gave screentime to Penguin, The Riddler, Catwoman, and The Joker.
It makes sense that The Batman Part 2 might feature more than one antagonist along the way.
Is Hush The Right Villain?
Responses to the possibility of Hush being in the new film are mixed. It could be perfect to add him to the storyline, but choosing who will play Hush might be the most important piece of the puzzle.
Casting Taylor Lautner for the role of Hush in The Batman Part 2, for example, might be a catastrophically terrible decision.
Thomas Elliot Is Hush
If you don’t know much about the villain Hush, let us refresh our minds. Hush’s real name is Thomas Elliot. Elliot was a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne. The two played board games together, and Elliot taught Wayne strategy. Thomas was a strategic genius and had a very sharp mind, to say the least.
A rumored possible addition to The Batman Part 2, Tommy Elliot (aka Hush), hated his parents. His father was abusive, and his mother was far too submissive.
A Trouble Childhood
In hopes of collecting their fortunes postmortem, Elliot tried to kill his parents by cutting their brake lines, but his mother survived the wreck due to the heroic medical treatment of none other than Thomas Wayne (Bruce’s father).
Eventually, Tommy succeeded in ridding himself of his mother, and he put himself through school at Harvard. After becoming a skilled neurosurgeon, his path entwines with that of Edward Nygma (The Riddler) after Nygma gains some valuable info regarding Bruce Wayne.
Would Fit The Batman Part II Style
When the two realize their enemy is the same, Hush is born (born to be awesome as the main villain in The Batman Part 2).
Now, his costume isn’t very intricate. Elliot just takes some bandages/cloth and wraps them around his face so he can’t be identified, and that’s about it.
However, he’s brilliant, and definitely not the least dangerous villain in the DC Universe.
Picking Up The Story
The Batman Part 2 could pick up where The Riddler and Hush left off in the comic series, or it could bring some of the pair’s antics to the big screen.
Either way, there’s plenty of room to work Hush into the storyline.
There’s no clear release date for The Batman Part 2 yet, but it has been stated that production hopes to begin filming the sequel in the summer of 2024.
