According to USA Today, in her forthcoming poetry book, Pretty Boys Are Poisonous, Fox bares her soul, sharing intimate and painful experiences, including past abusive relationships and a heartbreaking pregnancy loss.
In an emotional interview with Good Morning America, the 37-year-old actress opened up about her inspiration for the poetry book, which contains 70 sets of deeply personal poems.
Megan Fox expressed the need to confront her past and give voice to her pain, explaining that if she didn’t use the medium to release her experiences then she might become sick from holding them inside.

The poetry book is a window into the real-life incidents that have shaped Megan Fox’s life so far. She courageously touches on one poem that delves into a dark chapter of her life, revealing the physical abuse she suffered at the hands of an unnamed partner.
While many of the poems were very personal life, Megan Fox disclosed that some of her poems were deemed too raw and revealing to be included in the book.
She admitted that some of her work was deemed “for God’s eyes only” saying that if she wasn’t famous she might have published the more personal pieces.

But, since Fox is a “known person” she decided to keep some things private to avoid curious minds from digging too far into her personal life.
Among the poems that were published, Megan Fox shared details about a traumatic experience she endured with her current partner, Machine Gun Kelly.
She spoke for the first time about a pregnancy loss they suffered together. “I’ve never been through anything like that before in my life,” she admitted.
“I have three kids. So it was very difficult for both of us, and it sent us on a very wild journey together.”

Megan Fox is a mother to three children – Noah, 11, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 7 – from her previous marriage to actor Brian Austin Green, whom she split from after a decade together. Kelly also has a 14-year-old daughter, Casie, from a previous relationship.
Megan Fox credited Kelly, whom she affectionately calls her “twin flame,” for encouraging her to pursue her passion for poetry.
According to the actress, the musician plays a pivotal role in her life and is a recurring theme in the book, as she reflects on their intense connection and shared experiences.

During the interview, Fox read a poem called “To Marry an Arsonist,” which is about her partner, saying, “True love, twin flame, trusted friend, naive girl. So many secrets hiding behind your scorched earth temper.”
