Travis Scott wants to compose the music for the MCU’s upcoming Blade reboot. The singer/songwriter recently took to X to express his interest. “Woke up thinking I would love to do the soundtrack to Blade,” he wrote. If Scott’s wish comes true, it won’t be his first foray into film. The rapper made a cameo appearance in the 2021 crime drama Gully.
A song called “Knife” by Travis Scott was supposed to appear on the film’s soundtrack. However, it was ultimately cut due to sampling issues. A snippet of the track can be heard during the film. In August 2021, he signed a movie development deal with independent studio A24. Still, there have been no official talks with Marvel about Scott adding his talents to the Blade soundtrack.
