See Doja Cat Performing In A Micro Top
In a new series of images, Doja Cat performs in a micro-top.
Doja Cat is known for having some pretty incredible fashion moments, and she continued that trend this week when she performed at the Patron El Cielo launch party in New York City. Doja took to Instagram to share some moments from the night, giving us a better look at her stylish all-white ensemble that included a micro top and a sweeping jacket.
Doja Cat’s collaborations with Patron continue to be iconic moments for the pop singer, and she also made a stunning statement at Paris Fashion Week back in January with a purse that could hold a bottle of Patron. True to Doja’s stage name, the purse looked like a hand with cat claws that could hold a full bottle of Patron El Alto in its clutches. It was also impressively luxurious, as it was bejeweled with 1,000 Swarovski crystals and 3,000 pearls.
While it’s always great to see Doja Cat create another iconic fashion moment, many fans are waiting on pins and needles for her next big album to release. Her last album, Planet Her, was a massive hit and earned Doja her first Grammy for the single “Kiss Me More,” which featured SZA. Along with SZA, the album featured guest appearances from Young Thug, Ariana Grande, TheWeeknd, JID, Eve, and Gunna, so we should expect another star-studded affair for her next project.
However, fans shouldn’t expect a repeat of the pop stylings of Planet Her for Doja Cat’s next album. Doja has given fans a glimpse into what the album might look like, saying that it is going to be a rap-focused album and that her two previous albums were “cash grabs.” It seems like Doja is done with the pop music for now, whether she was joking about the cash grab comment or not.
Doja Cat announced at the beginning of May that her new album would be called First of All, but that could easily change in the future. Initially, Doja said the album would be called Hellmouth, but she changed her mind on that front. In fact, in a recent interview with Insider she revealed that she probably has the title figured out and that it wouldn’t be First of All.
In short, Doja Cat has been indicating that she’s going to be switching things up for the next phase of her music career. In the same interview, she talked about how she would be moving away from the more “feminine” performances from the Planet Her era. She also said that her future performances are going to be more “in-depth,” so it’ll be interesting to see how Doja’s career evolves from this point forward.
However, fans might be disappointed to learn that Doja Cat doesn’t have any immediate plans to go on tour in the near future, so it may be a while before fans can see her dominate arena stages again. Also, her new album (whatever it’s going to be called) doesn’t have an official release date yet, either. For now, it looks like fans are going to be on Doja’s time as she plans out the next stage of her touring and music career.
