With Madame Web being slated for a February 16, 2024, release, we thought it would be fun to do an AI mock-up of Sydney Sweeney in a Spider-Woman Costume.

Madame Web will be the sixth film in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, and Sydney Sweeney will be taking on the role of Julia Carpenter, the woman behind Spider-Woman. Though a lot of the plot for the upcoming film is kept under wraps, we know that Sweeney will be starring alongside Dakota Johnson, who will be portraying the titular character.
While our imagining of her Spider-Woman costume is probably a far cry from what we’ll ultimately see on the silver screen, you can’t blame us for having a little fun wondering what kind of look the Euphoria star will pull off for the upcoming film.
Ever since Sydney Sweeney’s portrayal of Cassie Howard on HBO’s Euphoria, she has been a hot commodity, and rightfully so. Two years after her Euphoria debut, she took on the role of sardonic college sophomore Olivia Mossbacher in the first season of The White Lotus, an HBO black comedy-drama anthology series. Euphoria will begin shooting Season 3 at the end of 2023 and is scheduled for a 2024 release.
But everything is coming full circle for Sydney Sweeney, considering one of her earliest film roles was in 2013’s Spiders 3D. Though this is merely a coincidence, we can only wonder if her portrayal of Emily in this sci-fi monster horror film helped her prepare for her upcoming role of Spider-Woman in any way. They say that learning through osmosis and exposure is one way to get into a role, but we could hardly consider this early role as a form of method acting.
Sydney Sweeney has certainly kept herself busy over the last couple of years. Not only will she be taking on the role of Julia Carpenter/Spider-Woman, but she’s slated to appear in a number of upcoming films in which she stars and also produces. In fact, in 2024, we’ll see Sydney Sweeney portray Cecilia in a psychological horror film entitled Immaculate, in which she stars, has a hand in post-production, and fulfills the role of producer.

This Neo-western saw its world premiere on March 17, 2023, at SXSW, and is currently boasting a 100 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. So even though you have to wait to see what Sydney Sweeney’s actual Spider-Woman costume will look like in Madame Web, you, at the very least, got to see our AI interpretation of the upcoming Sony Spider-Man Universe film. Given how great Sweeney is performing across all genres, it’s safe to say she’s going to do an excellent job no matter what her costume looks like.
