Morgan Freeman Trends After Attacking An Ice Cream Lover
Morgan Freeman went after President Joe Biden for talking about ice cream in the wake of a mass shooting.
This week, the nation was rocked by another mass shooting at a school that left three adults and three children dead. Since then, advocates for gun-safety laws and those like Melissa Joan Hart, are just plain fed up with the way the United States government has handled the wave of mass shootings that happen every year. While he may have a smooth-talking voice, Morgan Freeman was sure to send a chill down President Joe Biden’s spine when the Just Getting Started star chastised the President in a Twitter post that you can see below.
Morgan Freeman, who was recently revealed to be teaming up with Peacock on a limited series surrounding the legendary boxer, Muhammed Ali, didn’t mince words when he sat down to address his TikTok followers about his upset with the President. With an Oscar award and poster of his beloved film The Shawshank Redemption on the shelves behind him, Freeman spoke directly and firmly about his anger towards the United States’ current leader. Opening his address, the actor welcomingly said, “It’s your old friend Morgan,” but the pleasantries stopped there.
Commenting that he’s “had it up to here” while motioning at his neck, the Gunner star then asked his followers, “what the hell is going on?” Forming his comments about the tragedy that happened this week in Nashville, Morgan Freeman attacked President Biden for “talking about chocolate chip ice cream” after the traumatic events. Calling him “a fool,” Freeman didn’t hold back in his beliefs about how he felt about our current leader.
Not naming him directly, Morgan Freeman alluded to Joe Biden by saying, “I’m Dr. Jill Biden’s husband, we all know that fool,” before again slamming him, commenting that “two years is enough” and calling for an end to the President’s current term. Not only upset about the tragedy that took place in the Nashville school this week, but the recently announced Lioness star also pointed out that prices have skyrocketed since the President was sworn into office, adding that “we’re being laughed at around the world.” Ending his statement, Freeman said a quick but harsh “get him out” before the video cut out.
While he may be one of the most celebrated actors in Hollywood, Morgan Freeman is also an avid voice in the political arena, where he’s never shied away from sharing his viewpoint. Leaning more towards the side of Democrats, Freeman has, in the past, celebrated the political runs of both President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton’s push for the White House in 2016. He’s also been an outspoken advocate for police reform and even pushed against Russia following allegations that the country had tampered with the 2016 elections.
And, as Joe Biden will now tell you, you don’t want to be on the bad side of the cool-talking legend. Previously, Morgan Freeman has poured every ounce of his energy into an attempt to block Donald Trump from getting into the White House, and even with his current distaste for Biden, we’re expecting him to do the same during Trump’s upcoming run.
