See Gal Gadot Jumping On The Bed And Acting Sexy
Gal Gadot looks like she's having fun as she jumps and dances on a bed.
Gal Gadot might be 37 years old, but she looks as carefree as a teenager in her recent post on Instagram. She jumps up and down on the bed in a shirt tied in a knot just above her belly button and high-waisted jeans while wearing her hair in a ponytail. When she gets done jumping, she crouches down on the bed, then sits up on her knees and joyfully sticks out her tongue at the camera.
We’re glad to see Gal Gadot smiling, as she hasn’t been having the best time lately when it comes to her movie roles. As part of James Gunn and Peter Safran’s recent overhaul of the DC Universe, Gal Gadot’s famous Wonder Woman character has all but disappeared. The third Wonder Woman film was canceled, and recently her cameo in The Flash.
According to an interview with the Smartless podcast, Ben Affleck revealed that the original plan for Wonder Woman’s appearance in The Flash film was for her to be in a scene with Affleck’s Batman. In an uncharacteristically spoilery statement, Affleck described his scene with Gal Gadot in great detail, explaining that Batman gets caught while fighting “some bad guys” and Wonder Woman saves him with her Lasso of Truth.
Gal Gadot’s character’s use of her famous lie-detector device leads Batman to spill the beans about some of his real feelings and thoughts about his work and his life, something that Ben Affleck implies helped him to get a better idea of who his character was and what he wanted… which came too late, since this was most likely his last time out as Batman.
Even though that particular cameo was later cut, Gal Gadot did show up in Shazam! Fury of the Gods, even if the scene wasn’t very well received by moviegoers. Many fans hated the scene because of the cringey nature of Wonder Woman’s interaction with Billy Batson/Shazam, but other fans didn’t even believe she was really in the scene with him at all.
The magazine describes Gal Gadot’s appearance as a “deus ex machina” near the climax of the film. She arrives to bring Billy Batson/Shazam (Zachary Levi) back from the dead since she is the only hero with god-like powers left to help. The quality of the visual effects in the scene were so shoddy, however, that people claimed that Gal Gadot’s face was later put on the body of her body double using deepfake technology.
This, however, is false, as there is video evidence that Gal Gadot was on the scene that day (even if the director was not: he was directing remotely because he had a “visa issue”). The body double had been there to shoot a rehearsal scene, but the Gal Gadot you see on the screen in the movie is the real, true Gal Gadot.
And if you don’t believe it, just get Gal Gadot to grab Wonder Woman’s Lasso of Truth and prove it to you!
