Still just Jenny from the block, Jennifer Lopez never misses a chance to remind the world of how far she’s come. Whether it’s in a yellow bikini or blue lingerie, the 53-year-old multi-hyphenated performer will always show up looking her finest, as proved by a recent Instagram post. In the three-image set, which you can see below, the Super Bowl halftime alum is braving the recent rainy weather in Los Angeles and wearing a revealing shiny dress.
With a lineup of other looks behind her still hanging on the rack, Jennifer Lopez stuns her followers in a dazzling gown that not only includes a long leg slit but also leaves a large piece open diagonally across her chest, revealing the Parker star’s toned physique. Further demonstrating her love for all things that shine, the earrings picked out to accompany J-Lo’s outfit are an eye-catching gold. Making sure that she (or at least her shoulders) stays warm for her evening out, the gown is pulled together with a puffy overthrow.
Jennifer Lopez has had plenty of reasons over the last few months to ditch a quiet night in with her hubby Ben Affleck and paint the town red. And, sometimes, she’s even taken him along for the ride. The recently married duo were the talk of the town following their appearance at this year’s Grammy Awards, which may be part of the reason they decided that they had had Enough and that this would be the year that they’d sit out on the biggest night in Hollywood and not attend the Oscars.
To be fair, we can’t blame them, as both stars have been keeping themselves busy with a slew of new projects either just releasing or coming out soon. Just three months ago, Jennifer Lopez dropped her latest action rom-com, Shotgun Wedding, onto Prime Video, which garnered mixed feedback, receiving a 45% on Rotten Tomatoes. Also starring Josh Duhamel, the film saw the pair as a couple preparing to say “I do” at a destination wedding when their plans are hijacked by pirates who hold the wedding party captive for ransom.
As we move further into 2023, audiences can count on catching another action-heavy project starring Jennifer Lopez to land on Netflix in May. Directed by Niki Caro, The Mother will tell a high-octane story about an ex-assassin who returns to her dangerous job to protect her estranged daughter. Along with Lopez, the film will also star Joseph Fiennes, Omari Hardwick, and Gael García Bernal.
Beyond that production, Jennifer Lopez is busy working double-time on a sci-fi thriller titled Atlas, in which she’ll be both starring and producing through her Nuyorican Productions. Although not much is known about the feature at this time, the very recognizable names of Simu Liu (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us), Lana Parrilla (Spin City), and Abraham Popoola (Andor), are a promising start to what will be a project helmed by Brad Peyton (San Andreas).
