But it was her first gig as a 16-year-old model that really prepared her for a lifetime of gorgeous outfits and photo shoots. Recently, an image from a 2002 shoot for GQ Italy resurfaced online, sending fans into a frenzy.
For the shoot, Charlize Theron is dressed in a gold evening dress from an unlisted designer. Due to her natural beauty, the actress didn’t need any accessories to highlight the outfit. Her hair is styled loosely in a messy bun. Her makeup is light, natural, and almost non-existent. However, in her downtime, the 47-year-old chooses comfort over heels.
Charlize Theron was spotted flaunting her casual style at a sushi restaurant in Los Angeles last month. The F9 alum styled herself in a plaid trench coat, white sweater, blue jeans, and clogs. Her hair was hidden underneath a baker boy cap. She was accompanied by her 10-year-old daughter Jackson, The Daily Mail reports.
Like any parent, the actress loves spending time with her kids. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter in 2022, Charlize Theron said she loves being a mom more than being an actor. “I never thought I would say that,” she told the publication. “But if somebody said you can’t do both, it would be a no-brainer for me,” she said, explaining that she would still miss acting.
Charlize Theron also talked about her life once her daughters have grown up. The 47-year-old said she can see herself as an empty nester that would pack up and travel three continents directing a television show. “But that’s not my life now,” she said. The Mad Max: Fury Road star adopted Jackson in 2012. Three years later, she adopted August.
When she’s not a hands-on mom, Charlize Theron can be found working on her next big movie. The actress is currently filming The Old Guard 2, directed by Victoria Mahoney. Although plot information is scarce, the screenplay by Greg Rucka will probably continue to draw inspiration from the 2019 sequel to the original comic, The Old Guard: Force Multiplied.

The group is then forced to fight for their freedom. The Old Guard 2 stars Charlize Theron as Andy/Andromache of Scythia and KiKi Layne as Nile Freeman.
Marwan Kenzari appears as Joe/Yusuf Al-Kaysani. Luca Marinelli stars as Nicolo di Genova. Matthias Schoenaerts is featured as Booker/Sebastian Le Livre. And Van Veronica Ngo portrays Quynh. Chiwetel Ejiofor, Uma Thurman, and Henry Golding round out the cast of the Charlize Theron movie. The Old Guard 2 is set for release later this year.
Charlize Theron is also set to star in the highly anticipated Fast & Furious franchise. She will reprise her role as Cipher in Fast X and Fast & Furious 11. The films are scheduled for release in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
