Avatar 3 Title Revealed And It’s Very Weird?
The title for the third Avatar movie will reportedly be Avatar 3: The Seed Bearer.
After 13 years, viewers were finally taken back to Pandora with Avatar: The Way of Water. The long-awaited follow-up reunited fans with some familiar faces while also introducing a slew of new characters, which is a necessary addition considering there are multiple sequels still to come. In fact, the third entry, which was shot alongside The Way of Water to avoid the “Stranger Things effect” with some of the actors (more on that here), is rumored to already have a title: Avatar 3: The Seed Bearer.
Although The Way of Water only recently arrived in theaters, speculation is already heating up regarding the next installment. Not surprisingly, the rumor that the film will be called Avatar 3: The Seed Bearer has spread like wildfire. In fact, fans are convinced they’ve worked out the titles for several of the forthcoming sequels.
While the next entry is rumored to be weirdly titled Avatar 3: The Seed Bearer, the fourth chapter is reportedly called The Tulkin Rider, which is far more fitting for the series. As for the fifth installment, The Quest for Eywa is the rumored title currently. Although James Cameron has stated he has plans for additional sequels, there’s no word on what those films might be called.
There’s no denying that Avatar 3: The Seed Bearer is an extremely strange title, particularly in a franchise that’s known for being suitable for viewers of all ages. It seems to suggest that James Cameron intends to explore some interesting subject matters in the next installment, which could mean that the movie is going to cover some sort of pregnancy. Of course, the director has kept tight-lipped about the movie’s plot, and he likely won’t spill many details until closer to the film’s release.
The rumor that the next sequel in Cameron’s hit fantasy series will be called Avatar 3: The Seed Bearer originated from a BBC story published way back in 2018. The same article accurately predicted that the second entry would be titled The Way of the Water. With that said, the rumor surrounding the title of the third installment could hold some weight.
