Millie Bobby Brown instantly rocketed to international stardom with the breakout Netflix series Stranger Things, in which she has portrayed the psychokinetic protagonist Eleven since 2016. In recent years, she has been expanding both her acting roles and her career outside of Hollywood, specifically with a cosmetic and beauty line named florence by mills. In a recent social media post, Millie Bobby Brown modeled some of her own goods, caught in a candid-style shot of the star adjusting a very sheer black corset.
Millie Bobby Brown posted this picture of herself to her ridiculously popular Instagram account, which currently boasts over 60 million followers (or basically the entire population of Italy). In the trendily Polaroid-style photo, the Godzilla actress is staring straight into the camera while lifting a very small and translucent corset that serves (barely) as her top. She is wearing it under a high-waisted kelly green suit with heavily bejeweled cuffs, while her hair is pulled into a severe center part and long blonde pigtails.
The Instagram post is captioned with the phrase “karma is a cat, purring on my lap cause it luvs me,” quickly identified by Millie Bobby Brown fans as a lyric from Taylor Swift’s song “Karma” from her latest release. Commentators were immediately and intensely overjoyed to view this as a confirmation that Brown is a fan of the megapopular singer-songwriter (and soon, film director), as people online often are. A second photo in the slides showed Millie Bobby Brown in a much different light, snuggled with a cat beneath bedclothes, so it sounds like it was also pretty literal.
The Stranger Things actress has recently been showing off pictures of a tropical vacation with her boyfriend, Jake Bongiovi, son of rock star Jon Bon Jovi. Though Millie Bobby Brown has been bestowing pictures of herself posing in various bikinis and cut-off shorts, it appears like she might be back to all business, though not looking any less stylish.
Stranger Things is soon to finish out its historically popular run on Netflix with a fifth and final season, which might finally net Millie Bobby Brown a Primetime Emmy Award after two past nominations. The show has consistently broken records for the streaming platform with each season, so it will be interesting to see how it fares against new contenders like the Jenna Ortega Addams Family spinoff Wednesday.
But although her star-making supernatural thriller show is ending, Millie Bobby Brown is keeping close ties with Netflix. Her Enola Holmes series of films has already been a successful new franchise for the streaming platform, though it is currently unclear whether a third installment will be coming in the future (which makes it seem like Henry Cavill just can’t catch a break).
Millie Bobbie Brown will also soon star in The Electric State (produced by Netflix, naturally), a dystopian science fiction film directed by the Russo Brothers and co-starring Chris Pratt. The movie is based on a graphic novel by retro-futurist artist Simon Stålenhag, and will also feature Jenny Slate, Ke Huy Quan, Giancarlo Esposito, Brian Cox, and Anthony Mackie.
