Jeremy Clarkson’s Hilarious Farm Show Has Confirmed Whether It’s Going To Continue

If you are a fan of growing things in a field, farming your way through life, and watching others do it on reality TV, then you have likely been waiting on pins and needles for the announcement about the future of Clarkson’s Farm. The British reality show starring the former BBC Top Gear star and motorist specialist Jeremy Clarkson has a release date for Season 2 in February of 2023. According to Small Screen, it even has a likelihood of Season 3 and a possibility for Season 4.
The series follows the former star of The Grand Tour after he purchased a thousand acres of the Sarsden estate in Oxfordshire, where he has decided to take on farming himself. While there is, of course, a fair amount of comedy that is right on brand for Jeremy Clarkson, the series has also been praised by everyday farmers for bringing awareness to how difficult their life is and how little money they make from it.
According to the report by Edward Lauder on Small Screen, the British TV series has a confirmed release date of February of next year, as teased in a social media post hinting at a bolded phrase hidden in the messages.
Jeremy Clarkson now likely has three more seasons to continue doing more for the farming industry, and a sheep farmer named James Rebanks said that Clarkson had done more for farming in one series than 30 years of the BBC’s long-running farming program Countryfile. The National Farmer’s Union has recognized Clarkson’s Farm as a show that showcased the realities of farming and has resonated with the public, awarding Clarkson 2021’s Farming Champion of the Year as a vocal champion for the British farming industry. The series isn’t all roses and great crops coming in; Clarkson faced severe backlash when he opened a shop in the town of Chadlington and caused a three-mile traffic jam.
Like Jay Leno, Jeremy Clarkson became known for his motoring expertise and took it to star in the automobile reality series, Top Gear, where he was eventually dismissed in 2015. According to reports, he engaged in a spat with producer Oisin Tymon over a catering decision to serve him soup and cold meat instead of the steak he ordered. The argument escalated until Clarkson called him a racial slur before punching him. Following the incident, Clarkson was released from the series, and despite a petition to reinstate him reaching a million signatures being delivered, BBC withdrew the offer of a contract extension.
His incident with his BBC producers hasn’t seemed to slow him down at all, as he has gone on to star in The Grand Tour and now his own show following him on the farm. He looks to be having the time of his life, working a lot harder in the field than he ever did in the garage, and cracking jokes all the way. While the release date has seemingly been set, Jeremy Clarkson did say that it hinges on how long it will take to edit what they have, but fans should be expecting more very soon.
