See Sofia Vergara Cook Thanksgiving Dinner In A Low-Cut Top
Sophia Vergara showed off her secret to a successful Thanksgiving in a hilarious new Instagram video.
Actress Sofia Vergara is celebrating the holiday season with a little humor, posting a fun video to Instagram showing off her “secret” to a successful Thanksgiving. Set to the music of Henry Mancini’s “Pink Panther” theme, the video features the Modern Family actress stealthily transferring food from one dish to a plate, with the video caption reading “The secret to a good home cooked meal is having someone else cook it then eating it in your home.” The post also included a tag to Walmart and the #SophiaHome hashtag, promoting her highly-popular Sophia Home product line for the retailer.
The Columbian actress is active on social media, with over 27 million Instagram followers delighting in her posts. The video has racked up over 165,000 likes in just a day, so it seems her fans can relate to taking short cuts to getting a Thanksgiving meal prepared. Vergara seems to have reverted to her natural light brown hair color, after going blonde earlier this year to celebrate her 50th birthday and nearly breaking the internet.
It seems Vergara is refusing to rest on her laurels after the end of Modern Family, which ran for eleven seasons before airing its finale in 2020. The role may have earned her four Emmy nominations and four Golden Globe Awards, but she immediately moved on, becoming a judge on America’s Got Talent and launching a Sophia Vergara brand of various products. That includes a clothing line for Walmart, a shoe line for Payless, a fragrance line, and a furniture line for Rooms to Go.
She’ll be making a return to television soon, and not necessarily to America’s Got Talent (although that is still in the cards). Her next role will be as Griselda Blanco, the real-life Medellin Cartel drug lord who ruled a criminal empire for decades, in the Netflix series Griselda, produced by the makers of Narcos. The drama series premieres on the streaming service next year, with a premiere date yet to be set.
Although she hasn’t made it official, there’s a likely chance she will return to serve as a celebrity judge on America’s Got Talent, after appearing in its 16th season. Judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel are expected to return as well. Vergara has also been developing a new TV series based on the Zorro legend, with a female actress playing the legendary hero. There’s been no announcement of a production start, however.
Sophia Vergara is also using her name to support various charities. She recently headed a campaign for St. Jude Children’s Hospital which sold a “This Shirt Saves Lives” t-shirt, with proceeds going to the hospital’s child cancer research. You can donate to St. Jude by clicking right here.
Although she’s been working mostly in television recently, Vergara has had a successful film career as well. Her resume includes the 2015 comedy hit Hot Pursuit with Reese Witherspoon, as well as Bottom of the 9th, Meet the Browns, Madea Goes to Jail, New Year’s Eve, Four Brothers, Chef, and Wild Card.
Sofía Vergara actually started her entertainment career as a runway model, after being discovered by a fashion photographer while at the beach. She made her mark in Spanish-language television, appearing in a number of series, before making her American debut in the 2002 film Big Trouble. In 2009, however, she was cast in Modern Family as Ed O’Neill’s wife and her life has never been the same since.
