See Sydney Sweeney In A Tight-Fitting Gown On Stairs
Sydney Sweeney looks fantastic in a tight dress on a staircase.
The stars have really shown out for the GQ Men of the Year Awards and Sydney Sweeney’s Versace dress might be one of the best looks yet. The Euphoria star took to Instagram to post a carousel of pics, including a screenshot of the film that inspired the outfit — The Lizzie McGuire Movie. Sweeney was one of the various stars that were honored at the awards.
Sydney Sweeney even had time to grab a pic with fellow honoree Joseph Quinn, who has a star-making turn in Stranger Things this year as Eddie Munson. Quinn’s look here is much more understated than his long hair and Hellfire Club shirt that he wears in the show. Quinn is also currently in negotiations to star in the A Quiet Place spin-off A Quiet Place: Day One, so he’s definitely having a pretty good year.
Of course, Sydney Sweeney is having an amazing year of her own. She once again returned to her fan-favorite role as Cassie for the latest season of Euphoria. She was also nominated twice at the Emmys this year — once for Euphoria and once for The White Lotus.
Although Sydney Sweeney didn’t manage to take home a win from this year’s Emmys, there are sure to be plenty of nominations in her future. In the meantime, perhaps we could see Sweeney grab some Oscar noms, as she has several film projects coming out in the near future. The first of which will be National Anthem.
National Anthem follows the people of a small South Dakota town who fight to obtain a rare Lakota Ghost shirt after it hits the black market. The film is directed and written by Tony Tost. Along with Sydney Sweeney, National Anthem will star Toby Huss, Paul Walter Hauser, Eric Dane, Zahn McClarnon, Halsey, Harriet Sansom Harris, Simon Rex, and more.
Although there’s no official release window for National Anthem, the movie is done filming so hopefully, we’ll hear some more about it soon. In the meantime, Sydney Sweeney will also finally be making the jump to the superhero genre, as she is set to star in a film that is part of Sony’s growing Spiderverse. Sweeney is playing a yet-to-be-disclosed role in the movie Madame Web.
Though Sydney Sweeney won’t be playing the titular character in Madame Web — that role is played by Dakota Johnson — we’re sure to find out who she’s playing soon, as the movie recently began filming. Sony’s Spider-Verse also includes films like Venom, Morbius, and the upcoming Kraven the Hunter. Perhaps we could see Sweeney’s character in future films for the franchise as well.
Alongside Sydney Sweeney and Dakota Johnson, Madame Web stars Isabela Merced, Emma Roberts, Adam Scott, Mike Epps, Tahar Rahim, Zosia Mamet, and Celeste O’Connor. S.J. Clarkson is directing the film with a script by Kerem Sanga, Matt Sazama, and Buck Sharpless. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait quite a while before we can see this one, as it’s not scheduled to come out until February 16, 2024.
