If we are being honest, we all get frustrated with other drivers on the road, but probably not enough to want to cause them any sort of physical harm. Well, that wasn’t the case for a horrifying road rage incident involving actress and model Denise Richards. Richards had been attempting to find parking at a studio in Los Angeles when a passing motorist opened fire on her pickup truck.

Denise Richards had been with her husband Aaron in the vehicle, as they were making their way to Popsicle Studio in Los Angeles. Aaron had been having trouble finding the place, and the driver behind them was visibly irritated and shouting at them while trying to squeeze past their truck. This driver in question then opened fire as he finally passed, striking the back driver’s side of the vehicle.

TMZ had initially received the report about Denise Richards being involved in this drive-by situation, and a representative from her camp also confirmed those details. Richards had reportedly been sobbing at the studio, but still managed to put in about 12 hours of work. After her workday ended, an off-duty police officer escorted Richards and her husband Aaron to their vehicle and all the way to the freeway, where the couple made their way back home.

Thankfully, no one had been injured, but we would imagine that the event likely caused some trauma to Denise Richards, who was simply attempting to find parking to work at a studio in the area. The LAPD had been contacted after someone at the studio noticed the gunshot holes on the truck, though the LAPD had no idea who would have fired at the truck and were not attempting to locate anyone in the area who may have been the one that fired at Richards’s vehicle.

The California Highway Patrol and patrolling cops in the area also reported that they had not been looking for whoever fired at Denise Richards’s vehicle. Sadly, this might have just been a one-off situation that involved a driver who clearly shouldn’t be on the road if they are willing to fire at random motorists. We presume that neither Aaron nor Richards were able to get a license plate number from the vehicle, as no arrests have been made yet.

Drivers in Los Angeles, and the rest of the world, can be quite unpredictable. It is always safe to be hyper-vigilant on the road, as you can never account for what another person is going to do. This time, a road rage-induced drive fired at Denise Richards and her husband, which could have resulted in the loss of life.

Denise Richards might be traumatized by this event, though she was still able to pull herself together to put in a 12-hour workday, which is impressive. Thankfully, her husband was also with her the entire time, which might have also made her feel a bit more protected in that given situation. The LAPD is also likely investigating the matter and is on the lookout for the vehicle description, as this person should certainly be locked up for attempting to kill someone for just wanting to find a parking spot.
