Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt has been delighting audiences and fans since the early 1990s, and a recent Twitter post reminds us all of her timeless beauty. Although the 43-year-old actress, who now stars on Fox’s 9-1-1, isn’t on Twitter, a number of fan accounts dedicated to her are, and one shared a recent picture of her sporting an unbuttoned Daisy Duke-like blue jean crop top. Though the picture is undated, it is a recent one, reminding us of why the actress has had our attention since she became a star on the Fox drama Party of Five and the film Can’t Hardly Wait.
Just over a year ago, Jennifer Love Hewitt signed off of all her social media, just after the birth of her third child. She wanted to take some time to take care of herself and recover, and didn’t want the distractions and negativity of social media to interfere. She specifically added that she wanted to devote the time she spent scrolling through social media posts to staying active and getting back in shape after pregnancy.
The Waco, Texas native seemed to recover quickly, as she didn’t stay off of social media for too long, and upon her return, some fans noticed that her face appeared “fresher,” leading to speculation that she may have had some cosmetic work done. Regardless, Jennifer Love Hewitt has become more active on Instagram in recent months, the one social media account she uses to communicate with fans.
Unlike many actresses, she doesn’t use her Instagram to post fashion shots or photoshopped images of herself, choosing instead to post occasionally about her life and work, and she certainly isn’t afraid to post pictures and video without makeup, embracing her age in a way her fans love. Many of her recent posts are promoting collaborations with a number of brands, so it appears companies really want access to her and her 1.3 million followers.
Jennifer Love Hewitt got her start on the syndicated children series Kids Incorporated, which was later shown on the Disney Channel beginning in the mid-1980s. The musical program gave future actors and musicians like Fergie, Mario Lopez, and Eric Balfour their starts in the industry, and soon, Hewitt was getting more TV and movie roles, most notably in 1993’s Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit, with Whoopi Goldberg.
In 1995, however, her role in the iconic series Party of Five made her a star and a household name. The horror flick I Know What You Did Last Summer and its sequel made Jennifer Love Hewitt Hollywood’s “It” girl in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and the popularity of the films is evident in the fact that it is now being rebooted as a series, although she won’t be involved. She also used her time promoting her singing career as well.
In 2005, she landed the lead in the CBS drama Ghost Whisperer, spending five seasons on the Emmy nominated series. She went on to appear in the series The Client List and Criminal Minds, taking time off at times to have children with her husband Brian Hallisay, whom she married in 2013. She made a triumphant return to television in 2019 as Maddie Kendall on the Fox series 9-1-1.
