Every once in a while, social media will give us something truly remarkable, from seeing Jesus’s face in a piece of toast to an unexplained phenomenon that causes the comment section to go wild with speculation. Of course, social media sites like Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok are also great outlets for artists and creators to showcase their skills and show them off to people all over the world, and every day brings us something new to look at. The New York Times Twitter account brought a unique artistic creation for fans to feast their eyes on, and maybe their stomachs, with Harrison Ford’s Han Solo in carbonite recreated in bread called Pan Solo.

The mother and daughter team at the One House Bakery in Benecia, California, said they spent a month creating the six-foot recreation of Harrison Ford as Han Solo in carbonite, the famous prop from the second installment of the original Star Wars trilogy, Empire Strikes Back. The striking resemblance wasn’t simply a front recreation but a standalone life-size recreation of the prop, including the mechanics on the side of the prop. The two bakers claimed the project took an entire month to complete, a show of determination and perseverance, and preservation since bread goes bad in most people’s cabinets within a month.

The comment section in the post is exactly what you would think it would be, with meme lords coming out of the woodwork to make Star Wars bread puns, and yes, there are so many more than you think. Some of the best ones include the famous scene where Harrison Ford is pulled onto the platform, and Carrie Fisher’s Leia Organa tells him she loves him, and he replies with the legendary line, “I know.” One meme sees Leia telling him she loves him, and his response is changed to “I dough,” while another alters Carrie Fisher‘s line to “I knead you,” with him responding with “I know.”

Harrison Ford has had one of the most influential acting careers in the entire industry as he anchored two of the biggest franchises in history. He appeared as the scruffy-looking scoundrel in five Star Wars films, including A New HopeEmpire Strikes BackReturn of the Jedi, and The Force Awakens, with a cameo in The Rise of Skywalker. He also anchors the Indiana Jones franchise as the fedora-clad archeologist battling the Nazis, Russians, and a supernatural shaman. While Ford has expressed a desire to kill off Han Solo for years, even after he got his wish, he can’t get away from his likeness as the rebellious pilot.

The creation is going viral on social media in ways appropriate for culinary designs excelling above the rest of the industry, but who knows how long it will last? Suppose you are in California and hoping to get a look at a celebrity. In that case, you may want to avoid the traffic in Los Angeles (Harrison Ford doesn’t live there anyway) and go see a tastier version of a celebrity in Benecia, California. Han Solo’s blaster just sold for a ridiculous amount of money; how much this one will sell for is anyone’s guess.
