Channing Tatum is returning to his most controversial franchise, as he is going to be starring in one final Magic Mike movie. This threequel movie is called aptly titled Magic Mike’s Last Dance and will see Tatum finally end his male dancing trilogy, with Steve Soderbergh taking the director’s chair for the third time.

Channing Tatum will be joined by Salma Hayek, Caitlin Gerard, and Gavin Spokes for Magic Mike’s Last Dance, though there is no telling what other men will be joining Mike in his final hip-thrusting adventure. Reid Carolin has written the script for the third movie, and he will also serve as executive producer alongside Nick Wechsler, Peter Kiernan, and Gregory Jacobs, who directed Magic Mike XXL. The movie is being salted for a February 10, 2023, release date.

Joe Manganiello, Kevin Nash, and Matt Bomer have all been part of the Magic Mike franchise, though there has been no mention if they are meant to return for the third and final movie. Channing Tatum could have some sway to bring them back, though the threequel movie has only been announced. Matthew McConaughey was the big star of the first movie, though Tatum took over by himself in the second movie, as by the time 2015 hit, he was a massive star in his own right.

Though Channing Tatum is a big enough draw on his own, the third movie could be bringing in some bigger names to give the trilogy the proper send-off. We have no idea what role Salma Hayek will play in the movie, but she is already a big name attached to the sequel movie.

We would assume that most of the cast are going to be brought back, though those announcements are likely a few weeks off from being made. However, Magic Mike’s Last Dance is also releasing in around six months, so we should know who is joining Channing Tatum quite soon. Also, the trailer for the movie might not be far off either but could also be kept hidden to keep the plot under wraps for as long as possible.

Channing Tatum is a busy man, as he currently has four different movies in his immediate schedule. Zoe Kravitz is directing a movie called Pussy Island, that will see Tatum in the starring role. Tatum also replaced Chris Evans in the sci-fi AppleTV movie, Project Artemis. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is also directing a feature called Wingmen, which will see him star alongside Tatum.

Despite his heavy schedule, Magic Mike’s Last Dance is going to land squarely within those releases, as Channing Tatum leaves behind one of his most beloved and controversial roles. Strangely, the threequel movie is in the post-production stages, leaving it as one of the best-kept secrets so far.

Magic Mike’s Last Dance comes out on February 10, 2023. The movie will see Channing Tatum return to dance one final time, presumably with some familiar faces that have appeared in the franchise already. We will know about the rest of the cast joining him in the coming weeks.
