Jennifer Lopez seems to still be basking in marital bliss from her marriage to Ben Affleck in Savannah, Georgia last month. The musician and actress is steadily providing her social media followers with some candid pics from their time at Affleck’s 87-acre Georgia estate, including this latest pic where she’s enjoying some tea on a golf cart. An 87-acre estate is certainly a lot of ground to cover, so it’s likely that Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck, and their guests did a lot of golf carting around on their property. As JLo says in her post, she’s “spilling the tea” on her nuptials with her website On the J Lo. Most recently, JLo has been taking to the website to post tons of pictures of her wedding to Affleck and her different outfits and looks. Jennifer Lopez has also been releasing updates and thoughts on her wedding in the form of a newsletter on her website. Some tidbits from her newsletters include the fact that Ben Affleck quoted his own movie Live By Night in his wedding speech. She also revealed that in the week leading up to the ceremony, a stomach bug was running rampant and that rain would frequently pop up. Fortunately, it seems like the wedding day itself went off without a hitch, as the two tied the knot on August 20.
Jennifer Lopez has certainly been in wedding mode for a while now, although she and her new husband Ben Affleck only spent a little bit of time enjoying their wedding, JLo starred in a 2022 movie based entirely on the concept of marriage with the romcom Marry Me. In it, JLo starred opposite Owen Wilson as a music superstar who calls off her celebrity wedding on stage and decides to marry a stranger in the crowd instead. Fortunately, this isn’t the way that things went with Lopez and Affleck, and we now have a happily married Bennifer power couple.
Funnily enough, Jennifer Lopez still isn’t done with wedding projects. Her film Shotgun Wedding is currently in post-production, so we should be getting a release date for that project pretty soon. The film is a romantic action-comedy that will star Jennifer Lopez, Josh Duhamel, Jennifer Coolidge, D’Arcy Carden, Steve Coulter, Callie Hernandez, Cheech Martin, Lenny Kravitz, and more. The movie follows a couple whose extravagant destination wedding is interrupted by criminals. The two have to save their family and rediscover their love in the process. Shotgun Wedding is directed by Jason Moore with a screenplay by Mark Hammer and Elizabeth Meriwether. Maybe after Shotgun Wedding comes out, Jennifer Lopez might call it good on wedding-related projects for a while and enjoy her real-life marriage to Ben Affleck instead.
