Alec Baldwin has been in some serious heat from the events that took place on the set of Rust last October. A cinematographer by the name of Halyna Hutchins lost her life because of a projectile that was fired from a gun that Baldwin was holding. There has been a huge investigation going on since that incident took place. Apparently, former President Donald Trump made comments about the shooting, stating that Baldwin likely did it on purpose. The actor has portrayed Trump several times on Saturday Night Live, so there might be some hurt feelings there. Trump’s comments have led Baldwin to believe Trump supporters are out to kill him.

According to Alec Baldwin, “One thousand percent I am nervous that a bunch of people who were instructed by the former president to go the Capitol and they killed a law enforcement officer. They killed somebody. And you don’t think think to myself are some of those people going to come and kill me.” Trump has rallied against Baldwin plenty after he mocked the former president on Saturday Night Live, as previously mentioned, but that doesn’t mean that he is going to get killed by anyone. The actor might just be feeling some paranoia based on the investigation that is still ongoing.

More recently, the FBI had finished the forensic evidence on the gun that was fired by Alec Baldwin. They determined that the gun would have had to be fired for the projectile that flew out to have killed Halyna Hutchins. However, Baldwin has maintained his innocence and claimed he only pulled back the hammer of the gun but never pulled the trigger. Prosecutors on the case have not yet determined fault in regard to the charges resulting in the loss of Hutchins’s life.

Based on how Donald Trump handles most of his “enemies” he likely just said that Alec Baldwin fired the gun on purpose because of how many times the actor has made fun of him. However, it led Baldwin to genuinely fear for his life. We certainly understand that fear when bringing up those who were involved in the Capitol riot, but not all the people that follow Trump are that radical. Again, this could all just be the fear that Baldwin feels from such a tragic incident taking place.

Alec Baldwin had apparently hired a private investigator to oversee the Rust incident, which seems a bit extreme. However, the actor has also indicated that he has known that he would not be charged with a crime since January of this year. That might not be true, as the investigation that is ongoing has not yet concluded.

Despite whatever paranoia Alec Baldwin is currently feeling, we are sure that Trump supporters are not out to get him. In fact, we are not sure if that many people care that he has mocked Trump on SNL. He also hasn’t done so in quite a bit, and Trump is no longer president. The shooting incident on the set of Rust has likely just kept the man from feeling any kind of normalcy. Even if he is found to not be at fault for the death of Halyna Hutchins, that is something that will haunt him for the rest of his life. It will be hard to shake the fact that someone died either indirectly or directly because of you.
