The Boys is arguably the best series on Amazon Prime Video. The grotesque look at superhero life has been a hit amongst fans, including the show breaking the fourth wall constantly. The series has one of the best social media teams around that consistently pokes fun at current real-life events. The most recent is Vought International, the conglomerate that controls superheroes in the show, making fun of the merger of Warner Bros. and Discovery. Vought has decided to provide the world with their own take on the merger by offering its own service of VTV+, VNN+, and VSN+ into one giant streaming service called Vought++. You can see the announcement below:

Dawn of the Seven is a Justice League-type film that is produced throughout seasons two and three of The Boys. The hilarious offer to watch the film on Vought++ is a layered joke that we cannot get enough of. Also, we are not entirely sure what Property Flippers is, but we are more than sure it involves The Deep in some capacity. He is the hero who talks to fish and does other things with sea animals that we would rather not mention in this post. Still, this hilarious troll effort is on par with the show constantly making fun of things that happen in real life. Another instance of this is when the heroes in the show sang “Imagine” by John Lennon. This moment took place in real-life, as celebrities thought it would be a good idea to make a video of them singing the song while the world was thrust into the Covid-19 pandemic. The tone-deaf moment was perfect for Vought to make fun of.

The Boys recently wrapped up its third season on Amazon Prime Video and had been immediately renewed for a fourth on the streaming platform. The series does what it can in the social media world to relentlessly make fun of events as if Vought exists in our reality. It’s a clever way for the series to stay relevant even though we must patiently wait for the next season to air. We haven’t heard Homelander’s take on the merger, but it is something he might not find too enjoyable.

The Boys Season 4 is reportedly set to start filming at the end of this month, which means we might be seeing the crazed superheroes of Vought return in the fall months of 2023. That is the hope at least. We are more than excited to see where the series goes from here. With Homelander nearly taken down, and his son at his side, we might be seeing a much different psycho once the fourth season begins.

For those who have yet to see this television wonder, The Boys is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The series details the lives of superheroes that are far from “super.” In fact, most of them are downright murderers. The series has gained plenty of notoriety, especially the social media team for taking cheap shots at plenty of real current news. We can’t wait for the next season.
