Starlight is best in the day.

Season 3 of Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys concluded in explosive fashion earlier this month, and now Erin Moriarty has some time for self care. As usual, the Starlight actress makes sure she looks fantastic, and she’s kind enough to share images of herself on social media. On Tuesday morning, Moriarty posted some steamy pictures of herself in a black tank top, along with some fun videos.
Erin Moriarty posted the series of images and video to her official Instagram account, of the actress getting — as she puts it in the caption “Hella blonded” — by stylist Tracey Cunningham. She posts before and after shots, as well as videos of herself enjoying some bubbly while she waits for the coloring to do its work. You can see screenshots of her Insta account below.
Erin Moriarty is in gorgeous company as one of Tracey Cunningham’s clients. A quick trip to the stylist’s Instagram shows she counts among her clientele such famous beauties as Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Sydney Sweeney, Isla Fisher, Anya Taylor-Joy, Halle Berry, and more. When season 3 of The Boys premiered in early June, Cunningham posted a slideshow of Moriarty both in costume as Starlight and in a tight leopard print dress, announcing both the premiere of the new season and her involvement as Moriarty’s hair color stylist. You can see that slideshow below.
The actress will no doubt want to take in as much self-care and relaxation while she can. Though the rest of us likely won’t be seeing any of it until next year at the absolute earliest, The Boys season 4 is scheduled to start filming before the end of August, which will no doubt keep Erin Moriarty pretty busy for a while. While speaking to Collider at the end of June, Karl Urban — who plays the morally shaky Billy Butcher on The Boys — confirmed that The Boys‘ fourth season was scheduled to begin filming on August 22nd.
Her role as Starlight on The Boys has become what Erin Moriarty is best known for, but the road she took to becoming one of the only members of The Seven with a working conscience included plenty of critical acclaim. She starred in the first, Emmy-winning season of HBO’s True Detective as Audrey; Woody Harrelson’s wayward daughter. In the first season of Netflix’s Jessica Jones, she was the college student Hope and one of Kilgrave’s (David Tennant) many victims. She received more warm attention from critics for her role as Mel Gibson’s daughter in the 2016 action thriller Blood Father.
Erin Moriarty’s next batch of screen appearances may very well have as much violence as The Boys, but will likely have a lot fewer superheroes. Next year she’ll star in the Texas-based noir Catching Dust alongside Jai Courtney (Suicide Squad), Dina Shihabi (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan) and Ryan Corr (House of the Dragon). She’ll also star in the horror feature True Haunting opposite Jamie Campbell Bower (Stranger Things). The film is based on a supposedly actual haunting, though we can’t confirm or deny whether or not that’s just Vought corporate spin.
