The ESPYS may be one of the biggest sports awards shows on TV, but that doesn’t mean celebs won’t get their time to shine with some red-carpet moments. Alison Brie was making a statement with her Roberto Cavalli black dress accentuated with pastel flowers. The black dress and sheer tights combo added even more detail with some buckles along the skirt. Check out the look for yourself below:

When Alison Brie isn’t stunning at the ESPYs, she’s staying busy with her upcoming projects. Brie has mostly been doing animated voice work throughout the pandemic, with voice roles on Rick & Morty, Cinema Toast, and Star Wars: Visions. She returned to live-action in 2022 with her role in the Apple TV+ anthology Roar. Roar featured various stories of what it means to be a woman in the modern age, where Brie played a woman who solves her own murder.

It won’t be long until we see her return to live-action movies, as she’ll be appearing in the comedy Spin Me Round. Spin Me Round follows a woman who wins an all-expenses trip to work at her company’s institute outside of Florence, Italy. However, things aren’t quite what they seem. Brie stars alongside Aubrey Plaza, Tricia Helfer, Debby Ryan, Alessandro Nivola, Molly Shannon, Fred Armisen, Tim Heidecker, Zach Woods, Lil Rey Howery, Ayden Mayeri, and more. Jeff Baena directs and co-wrote the script with Brie. Spin Me Round is set to come out on August 15.

In addition to Spin Me Round, we should see Alison Brie in one more film before the year is over. Brie will be appearing in the film Somebody I Used to Know as a woman who returns to her hometown and reminisces with her ex and thinks about the person she’s become. She also meets a woman who reminds her of the person she used to be. Brie co-stars with Haley Joel Osment, Amy Sedaris, Zoe Chao, Danny Pudi, Jay Ellis, Kiersey Clemons, Julie Hagerty, Hannah Barefoot, Ayden Mayeri, and more. Alison Brie co-wrote the script for Somebody I Used to Know along with her husband Dave Franco, who also directs. Somebody I Used to Know doesn’t have an official release date, but it should be coming out sometime this year.

Finally, Alison Brie will be flexing her action chops in the movie Freelance, which is currently in post-production. Freelance follows an ex-special forces op who takes on a job to provide security for a journalist interviewing a dictator. They must survive in the jungle after a coup breaks out. Alison Brie co-stars with Alice Eve, Christian Slater, John Cena, Marton Csokas, Juan Pablo Raba, Molly McCann, Julianne Arrieta, Sebastian Eslava, Daniel Toro, and Roberto Cano. Freelance is directed by Pierre Morel with a script by Jacob Lentz.

While it’s always great seeing Alison Brie tear up the red carpet in a stunning fit, it’ll be great to see her in some comedies again. Make sure to stay tuned for news about her upcoming films and check out Spin Me Round when it comes out in August.
