He’s (almost) here and ready to bring the thunder! As every Marvel fan knows, Thor: Love and Thunder is quickly approaching its July 8 release date and now, we finally know when tickets go on sale. You can officially buy Thor: Love and Thunder tickets THIS Monday, June 13. This is not a drill, be sure to run, not walk – or rather click – your way onto your favorite movie theater’s website this Monday to secure your tickets.

Like many MCU-based movies, Thor: Love and Thunder tickets are bound to go fast – mainly for the opening days. And with the following and anticipation that’s been building up over the past two years due to pandemic-based production setbacks, we’re guessing that those first few days are going to see a record number of ticket sales. After all, not only does Love and Thunder feature Thor, but it also stars everyone’s favorite cosmic gang of heroes, the Guardians of the Galaxy.

In the same new teaser promo in which the release date for Thor: Love and Thunder tickets is revealed, we also get to check out some new footage of the upcoming action flick. Set to the sound of the Guns N’ Roses classic rock hit, “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” which seems to be the new movie’s anthem, we see an overly confident Thor ask the gang how they’re holding up. Ever the realist, Drax (Dave Bautista), shoots back by saying “we’re all about to die!” The trailer continues to show off the high octane action that Marvel films are known for all while keeping up the comedic bits made famous by the Guardians and Thor. There’s also a bomb clip of Tessa Thompson’s King Valkyrie facing down Gorr the God Butcher that looks like it will deliver on all things butt-kicking.

When we last left off with our motley crew at the end of Avengers: Endgame, they were jetting away into the stars to find their next mission. Thor (Chris Hemsworth) had joined ranks with the Guardians and the rest was left up to our imagination – until now. In Love and Thunder, we’ll see Thor head into his golden years of retirement just to be cut short by a new terrifying character, Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale). Even the help of the Guardians won’t be enough to stop Gorr in his tracks, so the ragtag group will be joined by King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi), and, returning franchise member, Jane Foster aka Mighty Thor (Natalie Portman). With so many huge names packed into one production, it’ll be no shock if Thor: Love and Thunder opening weekend tickets fly out the window.

This is one of just a few teaser trailers we’ve been gifted with over the last two months, so we’re soaking it up. From what we’ve seen of the upcoming feature so far, we have no worries in our minds that the Taika Waititi-directed follow-up to 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok will be anything less than the best. Check out the TV teaser trailer above and be sure to set your reminders on Monday to pick up your very own Thor: Love and Thunder tickets and be the first of your friends to see the latest MCU movie.
