Ladies and gentlemen, if you’re currently working on your summer beach bodies, we regret to inform you that Kate Hudson has already gotten hers. And you won’t be topping it. The 43-year-old actress just posted a photo to Instagram bearing her midriff with a tiny black bikini top, and she’s putting women half her age to shame. Her outfit, complete with large sunglasses and a straw hat, has a vintage feel that will remind you a lot of her mother Goldie Hawn, in all the right ways. She admits that she buys her clothes at vintage clothing shops, so the look is on point.

Posted with the caption “It’s beginning to feel a lot like summer,” Kate Hudson seems to be living her best life now. She announced her engagement to musician Danny Fujikawa last year, after dating him since 2016. The two share a daughter, three-year-old Rani. In fact, after Hudson posted a picture of her beach ensemble, she posted a video of herself at an undisclosed beach with Rani as they took in the sun. The video seemed to delight Hudson’s 15 million Instagram followers, and even Paris Hilton voiced her approval in a comment. Since Hudson has served as a model for many years, most notably for Almay Cosmetics, keeping in shape and looking young are among her priorities. She was also once named one of People’s “50 Most Beautiful People,” so she does have a reputation to uphold.

Unlike other celebrities who prefer a certain level of privacy with their children, Kate Hudson seems to understand the need to meet fan curiosity, while setting some boundaries. She often shares pictures and video of herself at home with her children, with Rani in particular getting a lot of attention. She posts lots of old photos, and is sure to include her two older children in a number of posts as well (from her previous seven-year marriage to Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes).

The Deepwater Horizon actress was destined to entertain, as the daughter of Bill Hudson (of the musical group The Hudson Brothers) and Goldie Hawn. Although she doesn’t have much of a relationship with Bill Hudson, she is extremely close to her stepfather Kurt Russell, who helped raise her and she now considers her father. Kate Hudson hit superstardom in 2001 when she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Penny Lane in Almost Famous. She followed that up with a number of hit comedies, including How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days and Fool’s Gold (both with Matthew McConaughey), You, Me and Dupree (with Owen Wilson), and Bride Wars. Her more dramatic roles include Marshall, Mother’s Day, and The Skeleton Key.

She currently hosts a podcast, Sibling Revelry, with her brother Oliver Hudson (The Cleaning Lady), who gave her the nickname “Hammerhead” when they were kids because he said she looked like a hammerhead shark. Last month, she announced that she would embark on a solo singing career, and said an album was forthcoming. She will be seen next in Knives Out 2 with Daniel Craig and Ethan Hawke, with Rian Johnson (The Last Jedi) once again writing and directing.
