Proving that we can all use an ego boost from time to time, The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal copped to exactly that during an interview with Vanity Fair. The publication recently shared a clip to their Instagram where Pascal is being asked a series of questions while hooked up to a lie detector. Off screen, an interviewer asks the actor if he thinks he falls into the dreamy category of “heartthrob.” Ever the coy gent, Pascal looks off to the side and says “I don’t think -,” but before he can even finish his sentence, the lie detector proctor shouts “He’s lying!”

What happens next is why the Game of Thrones actor will forever be a dreamboat in our eyes. Pedro Pascal responds by looking directly at the camera and says, “That’s right. Yes, I’m a – yes, I’m a heartthrob.” It also sounds like he may have dropped an f-bomb in there before the word “heartthrob,” but if he did, it was expertly removed during post-pro. As the clip plays out, more questions surrounding Pascal’s latest credit are called into question. Although it looks like he wants to crawl out of his skin several times, the actor responds to the interrogation truthfully. You can watch the clip below.

When posed with the inquiry surrounding whether or not he goes onto fan accounts when he’s feeling down about himself, the actor admits that he does indeed like to read the kind things people say about his work – and his looks – when he needs a dopamine boost. His favorite out of all the pages dedicated to his splendor? Pedro Pascal admits that he, maybe not so creatively, heads to @PedroPascalFanAccount. Why search the entire internet when it’s spelled out right in front of you?

A hunk of burnin’ love for countless reasons, the Chilean-born actor has been blowing up the Hollywood scene for over 20 years. Although true fans of the series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, will remember his stint in a Season 4 episode, the actor didn’t rise to worldwide recognizability until his role in Game of Thrones Season 4. Although his character, Oberyn Martell held a critical part in the fantasy series, he would only appear in seven episodes. Leaving not only a lasting impact on the world of Westeros, but also on the entertainment biz as a whole, Pedro Pascal’s talents next carried him to Netflix’s drug based series, Narcos.

He then solidified himself into the canon of Star Wars by landing the role of the titular character in the Disney+ series, The Mandalorian. His part in the project would be such a hit among fans that he was written into another Star Wars based venture, The Book of Boba Fett. Currently, Pedro Pascal can be seen on the silver screen opposite the legendary Nicolas Cage in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, which is in theaters now.

When it comes to being a heartthrob, Pedro Pascal has it all. A critically acclaimed actor with the world at his fingertips, a sexy accent, and great looks to match, he’s definitely dream date material. Combine all of that with his bromance with fellow actor, Oscar Isaac, and our hearts are completely melted.
