Henry Cavill has revealed a completely new look for his role in the upcoming spy film Argylle. Argylle is based on a novel written by Ellie Conway of the same title. Cavill has one of the lead roles in the film, alongside a list of other talented actors. Cavill got a new hairstyle for his role in the feature length film, and shared a first look of the character on his Instagram. The actor has starred in various roles in his career, and is able to pull off any character that he plays. Based on the photo alone, it seems Cavill has gone all in on the new spy role.

Henry Cavill recently jumped to his Instagram to share a photo of himself on set of his latest spy film, Argylle. The photo has him standing next to what looks like singer Dua Lipa. Lipa will be making her big-screen debut in the movie. The two are dressed up to the nines. Cavill is wearing what looks like a dark green, velvet jacket, while his co-star is dressed in a sleeveless, gold dress. It looks as if the image is a still of the actors dancing in a darkened room. The room is shadowed in red lights to the left where a table of patrons sit. A spotlight is shining on Cavill and Lipa as they stand in the center of the image. Cavill’s new hairstyle for the film is close to a crew cut, but it’s a little long for the traditional style. In his post, Cavill shared his thrill to be able to share first looks for the movie. He also tagged @DuaLipa, @Appletvplus, and @Marv_Films in his post.
Extensive details on the film have yet to be revealed and shared with fans, but for now, we know most of the cast members for Argylle. Henry Cavill will star as one of the leads, alongside Dua Lipa, John Cena, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Samuel L. Jackson, according to Deadline. The publication also stated that Dua Lipa will be both starring in the film, but also will be contributing to the music in the movie, such as the title track. The premise of the film follows a spy who has amnesia and is tricked into believing he is actually a successful novelist, according to Screen Rant. The official release date is also yet to be revealed, but it seems the movie will release sometime this year.
Argylle isn’t Henry Cavill’s first spy movie that he has starred in. He has been a part of other films such as The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and Enola Holmes. Cavill has had a lot of success in the industry, and is able to take on any role that is given to him, whether the role has a bit of a comedic twist, or a character with a darker past. Argylle will be directed by Matthew Vaughn. Vaughn has worked on a list of other films in the past, such as the Kingsman franchise and Kick-Ass. With a talented cast and crew working on the production, the project will most likely have an incredible outcome.
